I realized that the only thing that would help me get back on my track was hearing updates about Mason and Louisa back home. But I didn’t realize it too soon. I thought not talking about them at all would help me move forward and pick myself up but I just created another problem for myself when I tried to search in another direction. It was not a good experience at all. I was ashamed of myself for taking drugs but I forgave myself because I know I was struggling during those times. I stopped it, of course.
