Inside in the sumptuous room, there was a young lady lying on the magnificent and soft King size bed.
Her eyes snapped open and she quickly looked around, trying to confirm if she is still in the hall, where the mating ball is held. thankfully, she is not.
Frown lines appeared on Raina's forehead as she saw unfamiliar white ceilings above her, that’s when she realized she is laying on a very soft surface.
She sat up abruptly and looked down at the thick but soft velvet bedspread underneath her, with a matching duvet.
where is she?
"Hi there Raina!"
Raina held someone giggling but found no one around her.
"What the hell? Who are you?" She asked but her voice didn't come out as human.
"You are my human self, Raina and i can still hear your thoughts because you are now part of me and i am now part of you. I shouldn't break your brain, so long story, short. I am Leia, your lycan."
With that, Raina saw a big white wolf starting to appear in her mind.
"What? I have a wolf? Not just a wolf but a lycan? Was i not supposed to shift on my 18th birthday?"
" Now, i have to hide my presence, someone is coming." Leia said in Raina's mind.
"What? But why hide your presence?"
"I don't want anyone to sense my presence yet, till i want them to and second off, they all think you are a human." Leia said proudly.
“Are you ok, my queen?” a female voice startled Raina and she jumped back in fright.
She snapped her head towards her right side where the voice had sounded from and saw a girl of her age in a maid’s uniform, she was smiling at Raina with a look of admiration in her eyes.
“You’re awake” she said.
“Hmm, yeah” Raina hummed in response.
Raina's eyes moved around wildly, all that are around her is of extraordinary quality the white drapes are exceptionally thick, yet appear to be delicate very much like the bedsheet. Indeed, even the walls are painted in smooth white tones with a hint of blue, there are gold puppets on the tables close to window and dressers.
There's a sitting region in the room, with a major level screen television standing gladly before the couches and a little table. It looked as though that place is a living room. “What is this place? Where am i?” Raina asked her.
“You’re at the palace, my queen” she answered.
“Palace?”
“Yes, my queen, this is the king’s room” she said.
Raina fell back on her butts after the miad finished her words, her mouth parted as everything that happened came rushing back.
She recalled how she had suddenly fell into unconsciously just by seeing the king.
Thank goodness he’s not here, she would have drown in embarrassment.
“The King ordered you freshen up and come down for lunch” The maid told her and was about to leave the room.
“Wait, what’s your name?” Raina asked when she remember she don’t know her name yet.
“Bella, your queen."
Raina shook her head quickly.
“No, no, I’m not your queen, my name’s Raina.”
Bella bowed her head frighteningly
“I dare not address you by your name”
Raina frowned at her words, she found how she speak kinda weird.
She nodded and sighed. She wanted to say something but her eyes caught a head sticking out from one of the sofas and she pointed at it.
“Who’s there?”
Bella tilted her head slightly and looked at the direction Raina was pointing.
“Oh, she said she’s your best friend….
"Chloe?” Raina cut in .
“Yes, his Majesty asked her to watch over you."
To watch over me? Raina huffed mentally, how can she watch over me when she can’t even watch over herself?
Where are the other girls? Are they having dinner now?” Raina asked.
“The others are gone, it’s just the two of you here."
“Gone to where?” Raina asked.
“They’ve gone home. The mating ball is over."
“Huh?!” Raina exclaimed. She quickly pushed the duvet off her and jumped off the bed, looking around for her shoes which Bella brought to her mmediately.
She guess she knew she was looking for it.
“Why did they leave us behind?” Raina pointed between herself and Chloe.
“You passed out and…” Raina tuned her off and rushed over to Chloe. She squatted in front of her and tapped her shoulder lightly.
“Chloe!" Raina called.
Chloe chewed her mouth sleepily, then burst into giggles, she grabbed Raina's hand and shoved one of her fingers in her mouth.
“Chloe ” Raina called loudly this time and snatched her hand from her.
She sprang up at once and looked at Raina for a moment, then pulled her into a tight hug.
“You’re awake” she said happily. she reached forward and felt Raina's temperature.
“Yeah, yeah! Why do i get the feeling that something is awry?" Raina said scrunching her nose.
"Mate." Leia howled in happiness.
"What?
With a c***k, the door swung open. The sounds of footsteps emerging from the door was hidden on the tiled floor.
Seeing the king walked in, Chloe and the maid left the room.
Hearing the slight sound of the door opening, Raina face turned pale with nervousness.
Then suddenly, a hand reached out soothing her skin as it stroked her, the finger was soft and smooth.
Raina was frightened that she trembled violently. King Ephrin her mate? This is seriously not happening.
"Ahh," Raina murmured almost crying. with a muffled and nervous voice she said. "Please... please.. let me go," she was like a little puppet begging with her phoniex eyes.
"You're mine! You're my mate, got that? A low and magnetic male voice came to Raina's ear.
Although the voice was commanding but there was no anger in it.
Raina's body trembled more and more in fear.
Tonight, she found her mate. The king of all supernatural creatures but she wasn't happy.
Instantly different scenario played in Raina's head.
What's gonna happen after accepting him as her mate? Will she die just like his late mates?
She knew she could never accept a man who lost his three mate mysteriously and she knew her case would be like his others mate and she will die mysteriously.
Being the mate to the king of all supernatural creatures was a good one but now it's a matter of life and death. Accepting him was digging her own grave.
"I.... I'm sorry. Can... you give me some time to digest all this?" Raina stammered.
After she finish speaking, her small chin was pinched and a man's extremely indifferent voice came from her ear.
"Why give you some time darling? You're my mate.
Although she couldn't see his face but she could feel his powerful aura and feeling his breath getting closer. Raina was so frightened that tears began streaming down her cheeks.
"Please let me go," Raina said unwillingly, struggling to escape from the place
"You have no right to reject me Raina," The man's domineering and powerful voice floated in her ears.
The voice seemed to be cold to the depths of the bone marrow.
She could feel her both legs numb.
"Regret being paired with me?" The man increased his strength and Raina's chin was pinched to the point of pain.
Raina gritted her teeth and said trembling in fear. "Please let me go.
* Ephrin you're hurting our mate," The man's wolf spark growls in annoyance

The man's wolf, vampire side and his demons growls in annoyance and he frowned.
"All of you shut up," Ephrin growls and block them out before storming out of the room.
Onec he left, Raina released a breath she didn't realised she was holding.

Seconds ticked in to minutes, minutes ticked in to hours and so the day went by in a blink. It's 8Am in the morning when Raina woke up from her heavy slumber.
Her long eyelashes fluttered like butterfly wings and she opened her eyes a few times.
Thinking of what happened last night, a frown appeared on her little face.
She looked to the side , the room was empty and there was no man.
"Huh? Where did he go? Did i slept here all night," Raina asked rhetorically.
She knew her parents and big brother will be hell worried about her.
Sighing, she shrugged the thought off as she struggled to get out of the bed and heading to the bathroom.
Pushing the door open, she stiffened on the spot.
In the bathtub was a man with delicate and handsome features but his expression looks like a sculpture.
Hearing the door opening, the man slowly opened his eyes and their eyes locked, the moment like that of a snow mountain green lotus blooming, amazing and intimidating.
Raina had never met a person with such a powerful aura and here she is standing before the King of all supernatural creatures naked in the bathtub.
His eyes were like great eagles flying on the snowy mountains.
*Damn! Our mate is so huge down there," Raina's wolf Leia said in excitement.
*Be quiet you silly horny wolf, i don't wanna die yet* Raina snapped and blocks her out.
Raina didn't know whether to sigh at the man's handsomeness, or how to break the awkward atmosphere now?
The man's eyes were too cold, and she didn't know how to react, so she had to step back cowardly.
"Stop." Ephrin spoke, and his voice was a little more hoarse after he was satisfied, very sexy and magnetic.
"Sorry! I swear i didn't know you were here. I'll go out now," Raina stammered.
"Come join me darling!
Just after turning around, her back was like a thorn in her back and she could only held the wall for support.
"No.. it's not convenient something might happen.
Ephrin furrowed his eyebrows as she said that. "Are you indirectly giving me a hint darling?" Ephrin was used to being aloof and every word, every sentence had an irresistible majesty.
Strangely, Raina didn't disobey his words and she took a small steps and walked over slowly.
A big steamy hand grabbed her waist and she let out a coquettish gasped and fell heavily in to the bathtub.
"Your majesty.....
"Cut the cramps off darling! I am your mate so don't call me that.
His chin was lifted and the man's eyes was as deep as an ancient walls staring at her.
Raina's pink lips parted and moved to his lips involuntarily.
"Come me honey," his voice was hoarse which seemed very indescribable in this atmosphere.
Raina shook her head frantically as she crashed her lips on his.
This shouldn't be happening but it was, she'd probably regret it later but now all she wanted was to taste his lips.
