Raina was thrown on the king size bed, she was like a dead fish, unable to move or perhaps too clouded by the King's enchanting features.
The dust fluttered in the sunlight and king Ephrin tall and handsome figure was even more impeccable.
Every muscle line was just right, too much is too strong, too little is too weak.
Raina is just like a magnet attracted by the natural elegance of the King's handsomeness.
Ephrin calculative eyes landed on Raina as he assessed her face with his amber eyes.
But with a casual glance, the skin on her shoulder that she inadvertently exposed made his Adam's apple slide.
Seeing her nervousness and how fragile she is, Ephrin decided to let her go.
"Why did you stop," Raina got up with her mouth pouted and she regretted saying it. This is just like jumping in to a death trap.
"I'm sorry! I take back my words," she quickly said and cussed leia in her head.
"Silly horny wolf, i know it's all your fault," she rolled her eyes mentally.
"Yes! Blame it all on me as if you weren't anticipating for it," Leia snapped and blocks Raina out.
Ephrin shook his head as he looked down at Raina and Raina wish the ground would open and swallow her.
Her steamed hair was slightly curled on both side of her, making her face smaller.
Raina is very beautiful and delicate like a porcelain doll with big phoenix eyes, a small mouth and a pointed chin and a fair skin.
Ephrin was curious about why he's drawn to this little fellow last night. He hasn't been drawn like this to any of his late mate. This cheeky lady seemed special and different.
She has a light fragrance on her body with no pores or blemishes visible.
Ephrin ruffled his hair and puff out some air.
If it weren't for the curse, he wouldn't let her go. He would've mark her right now and here.
He gave a deep and faint breathe and headed out of the room.
*Raina our mate is sad," Raina's wolf Leia said
*what do you mean? Haha silly you, how can king of all supernatural creatures be sad?
*dummy! You were busy drooling over him that's why you didn't see the emotions in his eyes," Leia snapped and blocks Raina out.
"Sad? Not possible. He's the king of all supernatural creatures. Why should he be sad!
Raina shrugged the thoughts off as she put on her clothes and fled away from the room.
She needed to go see see her father and her big brother.
As soon as she left her front foot, someone hugged her from behind.
In the luxurious living room, 2 well dressed young ladies were standing by the window elegantly.
"Accalia, Arcadia! She's pretty.
Raina's gaze shifted from the window and landed on the young girl hugging her tightly.
Raina was flabbergasted.
"And you are?
"Oh my bad,", the young girl face-palmed herself. "I am Aurora. Your mate sister.
Raina furrowed her eyebrows assessing the girl up and down and cussed herself inwardly.
Of course only the royalties dress like this. "Raina you're such a big fool," The words was a barest of whisper as she couldn't bring herself to say it out loud.
"No! You're not a big a fool," Aurora said with a grin and Raina gasped.
"How did you heard that? I never said it out loud.
"The royalty read minds.
Raina gasped and rubbed her forehead forcefully while looking at the other girls standing by the window.
"Accalia and Arcadia! My sisters. We're triplets," Aurora said piercing in to Raina's thought.
"She's different from the others," someone said from behind and Raina flinched.
"Hi Raina, I'm Arcadia
Raina blinked repeatedly. "You.. you where standing by the window just now," She said and Aurora and Arcadia chuckled.
"Vampire thing," They said simultaneously and Raina gasped.
"You're also a vampire just like your brother?
Everybody knew King Ephrin is not only a werewolf but a vampire.
"Umm... okay..! I have to go to my pack to see my father." Raina said and cussed mentally.
"Did the moon goddess paired me with the king just to get me killed?
She delivered a breath she didn't know was holding tight her throat, she put her hand on her chest and pat it delicately.
"moon goddess, you've recently made my daily routine a form of punishment from now on."
"I see you've managed to know the princesses in only a couple of moments" somebody said from behind Raina.
She turned and saw somebody walking towards her with a grin, he halted before Raina and bowed deferentially.
"My queen" he welcomed her.
"Hi." Raina said to him.
You've met His Majesty, I see. "What do you think of him?" he asked.
Raina had no idea how to respond, so she just laughed and dusted her jeans, despite the fact that there wasn't much residue on them.
"He's a little grumpy." she admitted, cautiously expressing herself so as not to offend anyone.
"A little?" The young man stated:
Raina gestured but shook his head.
"He's really grumpy, but I think having you around will change his mood," he explained.
"Having me around? Humph, I really want to believe that I won't be able to escape before I can change his mind, but I'm not sure if I can adapt to him." Raina pretended to be in pain.
"In reality, he's not all that bad; he's a decent man, but people will frequently misinterpret him." The young man stated
"He's a decent man?" Raina scowled and crossed her arms across her chest.
"He's a long way from being a decent man; the stories about him being responsible for his late mate's death killing can't be made up."
"My queen, as I mentioned earlier, he's frequently misunderstood."
Raina murmured, "Hm."
He gazed at Raina's face momentarily and snickered.
"You don't believe, but that's not a problem; you'll grow to like him soon, but not yet." "I should show you around the royal residence; I suspect your opinion of his lord might change a tad," he said.
Raina murmured and gestured, admitting that she has no idea when the king will allow her to return home.
"Umm.… Is my friend still residing in the palace?" Can she come with us?" Raina was curious.
"She is still in the royal residence, and yes, she can come with us." He responded
"I don’t think we’ve been introduced yet. What’s your name?
" Daniel, my queen!" The King's personal assistant!"
"Daniel!" Raina muttered before nodding.
