"What?" Chloe, exhale. "Then...then... our parents are still waiting for us outside the castle; won't they be worried if we don't return home today?"

"Right, I completely ignored our family; they should have been waiting for us outside the castle." They will become concerned if we do not return today." Raina spoke with a worried expression.

"What are we going to do now?" Chloe reacted inappropriately.

"You don't have to be concerned, my Queen... His emperor has already sent someone to inform them of the new turn of events," Daniel said, but Raina shook her head.

"I'm too familiar with my brother! He's not going to leave like that; they need more than irrelevant statements to reassure them that we're fine," she explained.

Daniel nodded in agreement, while Chloe stared at Raina as if waiting for her to come up with a better idea.

"Could you send Chloe back?" she asked, more like urged.

Chloe scoffed when she heard Raina's words. "send me back? I'm not leaving you here on your own."

"That's the only way Chloe, and you can tell my Father, my brother, and Evan not to worry about me; I'll try to persuade the emperor and perhaps get his permission to visit home tomorrow."

Chloe seemed skeptical. She wanted to argue but Raina pouted

"Please!!!"

Chloe exhaled deeply and nodded.

"I'd like to stay here for a while," Raina stated.

Her gaze wandered through the area until she came across an old seat in a corner and pointed to it.

"I'll stay there and watch the training; I'll come in when I've seen enough."

Daniel came to a halt and then nodded.

"A servant will come stay with you, and she will take you back whenever you are ready," he said.

"All right," Raina replied cheerfully. She and Chloe exchanged a fleeting embrace.

Raina gently crushed Chloe's shoulder. "I'll see you and Evan in class tomorrow," she said.

"Hm," Chloe murmured back.

Raina motioned to Daniel to take Chloe home, they waved goodbye, and they walked away.

Raina walked over to the seat and sat, then focused her gaze on the emperor and the little girl who were training with the water; he's gentle with his teaching and doesn't want to push the girl too hard so that she doesn't exhaust herself using all of her energy.

"Where is the cold-blooded emperor who murdered his late mates that everyone is talking about?" Raina pondered.

" Are you there, Leia?" What do you think, are we going to die like his late friends?"

Raina called out to her wolf.

"I have my doubts. The road is rough, but I see a bright future ahead of me.

"What do you mean the road is rough?" Raina asked Leia, but got no response.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, and suddenly it was night and it had been four hours since Chloe had left, and Raina had just finished cleaning up and drying her hair.

She had no clothes with her, so she decided to pick any wearable cloth from the king’s closet.

He's her mate, and as long as she's wearing his shirt, he won't mind.

Raina sighed as she stood up from her chair and walked to the closet, but she let out a shout when she saw the king in front of her.

"What the hell?" She bounced slightly. And she wrapped her hands around her body right away. She was only on towel.

"Do you not know how to knock? Or do you want to kill me like you did your late mate?"

Ephrin's eyes flashed with pain when he heard Raina's word, but he quickly concealed it as his eyes followed Raina's body, focusing on the edge of the towel, which was only a couple inches away from her b.u.tts.

He strolled towards his closet, he returned with one of his big polo paired with jeans and tossed it at Raina and she catch it.

"Wear it" he said.

Raina raised the jeans and polo and expanded at him with her mouth opened , she sneered. "I should wear this?" she asked

He nodded.

"You don't have any cloth on you right now, and the servant hasn't returned with the new clothes." His gaze followed Raina's bare legs, making her feel awkward.

"He's looking too much."

*what do you mean too much? He's our mate* sneered Leia.

*I like how his eyes is fixed on us,' she said and shut Raina out.

Raina cast an opposing glare at the jeans and polo and shook her head; the jeans and polo will devour her. It's just too big for her.

"I'm not going to wear this," she insisted.

"Wear it!" Emperor Ephrin stated, this time more intimidating and commanding than before.

Raina wanted to fight, but the emperor's expression told her not to, so she gave an anxious nod and put on the jeans.

"Fine! "I'll wear it," she said firmly.

"Come down the stairs for dinner when you're through," he said as he prepared to leave.

"Wait! I have something to say."

Raina hurried after him, dropping her clothes on the chair, but her awkwardness kicked in.

She missed her step and was unable to stop the terrified scream that escaped her mouth when she saw herself falling.

Emperor Ephrin was lightning fast; he grabbed her right away, she screeched and flipped, his back hit the ground, and she fell on him, Her lips colliding with his.

Her eyes widened in surprise as her heart unexpectedly began thumping extremely fast, and she could feel Leia jumping happily in her mind.

*Damn! *I'm loving this* Leia groaned in Raina's mind as the two lips collided.
