When Karma did wake up, the sun was going down and she felt like she couldn't breath. It was a heavy weight on her chest and when she realized she was still in the room with Kenton, she noticed it was Kenton on top of her. Naked. She felt as the hot tears began to burn behind her eyes and spill down her cheeks. She struggled, trying to push him off but he wasn't moving. She groaned out in pain simply because everything was hurting. She turned her head and looked towards the window, seeing it was still open. All she had to do was get to that window and she'd be fine. Sure, she'd be on the roof but she'd be away from Kenton's crazy ass. Kenton turned his head, putting his face in her neck and inhaled her scent as he slowly began to wake up. He sat up off Karma, giving her time to cover herself with the thin blanket that was on the bed. He smirked at her before getting off the bed and grabbing his clothes. After, he walked over to the full body mirror and smiled. But guilt soon started to set in as a different voice spoke this time. "No Kenton. What'd you do to her?" Kenton looked back at Karma and saw how scared she looked and the tears run down her face. "She did nothing to you. Why'd you hurt her like that?" "I'm sorry but he told me to." Karmas face frowned. Who was he talking to? "I tell you all the time. Dont listen to him" the voice spoke in a nice tone. "But he scares me" Kenton mumbled. "He scares me too but you have to be the stronger person" "Kenton!" The mean voice yelled out, making him jump. "Don't listen to that prick. You do as I say and I'll let you live. Even if you are a waste of human life" "But i-" "But nothing. Now be honest, it felt good huh?" Slowly, Kenton nodded. "Yes" "See, I look out for you. I only want what's best for you. You see" Kenton nodded and began to smile wide. "You wanna do it again?" "Yes! Yes! Yes!" Kenton yelled. He banged his head against the glass with each word, too excited to stop himself. Blood began to pour down his face but he continued. The pain to him, was better than the feeling Karma gave him. "Kenton, no. Please stop. Stop!" The softer voice spoke. Kenton stopped banging his head against the glass "You have to calm down, ok? Look at Karma. She's so afraid. Be gentle with her, make sure she's ok" Kenton turned and began walking closer to Karma , who scooted back towards the head board. He stood over her and carressed her face, leaving blood behind. He ran his fingers through her hair, and ran his fingers across her lips. "You ok?" Slowly, she nodded. "Kenton, let me leave. Please" "You're trying to be nice, and she wants to leave you?!" The mean voice yelled. All of a sudden, Kenton sent a powerful blow to Karmas face, knocking her off the side of the bed and onto the floor. Karma laid in a ball, holding her face and crying from the pain. Kenton paced the floor and yelled at himself for being so stupid to show Karma sympathy. Just then, a thought popped into Karmas mind. The window. While Kenton continued to pace the floor, Karma pulled on her panties and a shirt before quietly making her way to the window. She put one foot out, looked behind her to see Kenton still pacing and she quickly put the other foot out. She pushed her back up against the house and slowly slid across the side until she was far enough from the window. "Look, she's up there!" A voice yelled from the ground. Just then, Kenton stuck his head out the window and scowled at Karma. "You little b***h, get back here now" She looked away from him and watched as the firefighters raised a latter up to her. Her heart began to beat quickly as she felt the warm grasp of the fireman. Once she was safe on the latter , she hugged the man and let the tears freely flow down her face. She didn't even have time to hug her friends or family because once she hit the floor, she was put in the back of an ambulance. "I can tell you held your own in there" the female paramedic smiled "Your children have a very strong mother to look up to" "Thank you" Karma smiled a little but her smile quickly fell when Kenton walked out the front door of the house. Both his hands were up in the air but one held a gun in it. The policeman all pointed their guns at Kenton, who smiled as he walked down the pathway. He looked directly over at Karma before raising the gun to his head, quickly, and firing a single bullet. His body, however, didn't fall. He still stood tall as shock speed across his and everyone else's face that watch. A huge wound sat on the side of his head and spilled blood as his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he started to lose balance. But he was still alive. Kacy banged on the steering wheel of his car, angrily. He sat in traffic for almost an 30 minutes and was getting worried and anxious. His right mind told him to leave the car and run home, which was almost three miles away. And that's exactly what he did next. His wife and kids needed him. He damn sure wasn't about to abandon them again. He was done with that. **** Kacy sat in the waiting room with his head down, face in his hands. Loretta had took the kids to her house while everyone else stayed back to see if Karma was ok. Dion paced the floor while Morgan was too anxious to sit down. Kat and Ash helped Kacy stay calm but they both knew why he was do stressed and worried. Kenton, who was in the same hospital, news came back to the crew and they were told about his condition. Because of his suicide attempt, he'll be watched but also, he has major head trauma because of the self inflicted gun shot wound. Doctors say when he fired the gun, the power from it made the gun shift upwards, missing any major arteries and lodging itself into the top of his skull. After he's released from the hospital, he will be put into a maximum security mental institution. As for Karma, she had trauma to her vaginal area, resulting in scarring and damage. She had a few broken ribs and a few bruises to her face along with her knuckles. When the doctor went back to give an update on Karma, he said something that shocked everyone. "She'd like to see everyone" he spoke "Except Kacy" Everyone looked at him with sad eyes. The way he was feeling was evident on his face. He was hurt, almost felt like crying. "Can I just check to see if she's ok?" He mumbled. The doctor folded his lips and pasted him a letter, from Karma. He slowly grabbed the letter and began walking out the hospital. Tearing open the note, he pulled out the letter and frowned at what was on it. "Sign the papers Kacy" He balled up the paper and threw it on the ground. That was the last thing on his mind. He damn sure wasn't about to do that. He made his way over to his mom's house, knowing Keegan and Moe were there. Loretta opened the door and smiled when she saw Kacy, pulling him into a hug. "My baby" she cried, pulling away and grabbing his face "Are you ok?" "I'm fine" he smiled, "I came to see Keegan and Moesha though" "Keegan is sleep and Moe is playing with Morgan in the front room" Kacy stepped inside and could hear Moesha before he even saw her. But when she saw him, her eyes lit up and she jumped up, running over to hug him. Kacy grabbed her, hugging her back. "Kacy!" She yelled, nearly choking him "I missed you so so much" "I missed you too, Moe. How you? You good?" "Yes, very good. Is Karma ok? That bad man had her" Kacy sighed and set her down, sitting on the couch "She's fine. You know she's a fighter" Moe nodded "That's why I wanna be like her" Kacy smiled a little and grabbed Morgan "Wassup fat girl?" She smiled and babbled off at him, adding a few real words. Mainly no. "That's not your name?" "No. No. " "I'm sorry then ok?" "K" Kacy set her down and let the girls continue paying while she went to check up on Keegan. He made his way back to his mom's room to find his son asleep in the middle of the bed. The closer he got, he realized his son wasn't sleeping. He looked like he just woke up actually which gave Kacy the perfect chance to do something he wished he did the day he was born. He grabbed Keegan and kissed his forehead and held him close. Almost two months and this was the first time he held his son. "What's good lil man?" He mumbled, looking at his sons face. He smiles because Keegan looked just like him "Damn man" Keegan grabbed for Kacy's dreads and went to put it in his mouth but Kacy stopped him. Grabbing the baby bottle on the dresser, he fed Keegan until the bottle was just bout empty. He burped Keegan and walked back into the living room where the crew now sat on the couch. Kacy sat in the lazy boy. "So how is she? She good?" "Bruises, broken ribs, and trauma to her vagin-" "He r***d her?" Kacy sat up on the chair and watched as his mom nodded. It was just so much going on, it was getting harder and harder for him to allow everything to sink in. First the divorce that he didn't want to happen. His brother being a lunatic. Now Karma... But now wasn't the time to get upset about any of that. With Karma in the hospital, Kacy knew he needed to step his game up with her and his kids. He knew he had to prove himself. When night came around, his mother packed all Moeshas and Keegan's things that she had. "You sure you wanna take care of them? Karma will be gone for awhile Kacy" "I'm sure ma." "Alright baby, call me if you need anything" He kissed his mother's cheek and made his way home.
