Aiden & Melanie

I don't trust a lot of people in this world anymore, but the one I'm supposed to trust, is the one that hurt me the most! Let me introduce myself, my name is Melanie Townsend, 18 years old I'm happy to go lucky type and very innocent at time(smdh). I only have a few close friends, but Aiden is my best friend! we go back like formula and diapers. Our parents met in college and work at the same Global Accounting firm, so they're always gone. At times it's just Aiden, me and our friends Tony, Gina, James and Abby. most of the time it's just Aiden and I. We did everything together. Eat, sleep, play games, dance and homework, but things changed the summer of 2018!!! Aiden left to spend the summer with his Uncles and big brother Ren. Now Ren was 4 years older than Aiden, and full of anger, he was always in trouble, until he went to go stay with his uncles, since then he's been on the up and up and it's made Aiden very happy. It's was the same for me but deep down Ren always gave me the creeps. Everytime Ren would look at me, he looked at me like he's starving or something. It's just not right. I've been told that I'm beautiful and I should be a model, but I just don't see it. I mean I think I'm cute, anyways. I just don't stay around too long when Ren comes into town. The reason why I say that is, one night when I spent the night at Aiden's house in the fall of that year, Ren came into the room I was staying in and m*********d in front of me while I was sleeping and got caught by his parents. That's what I've been told. Ever since then I still keep my distance!!! That summer I didn't hear not once or even talked to Aiden until he came back a day before our 11th grade school year. My mom told me that Aiden was going to pick me up in the morning and that he "couldn't wait to see me" she said. I was so happy to hear he was back, I could barely get any sleep. I got up at 6:00 a.m., which I never do, that's how happy I was to see him. I wore a red off the shoulder long sleeve shirt and a short black skirt with black knee-high boots, light makeup and beached with long auburn curls and a off shoulder book bag. I heard the car horn at 7:00 and looked out the window and screamed Aiden!!! He was getting out of the car, and as he turned around I jumped into his big, warm, strong arms. (in my mind) My how you've grown Aiden!!! What I didn't see is how he was looking at me.While I was telling him how much I missed him he was looking at me like I shape-shifted into someone else. He's not the only one that has changed over the summer. I think he was stunned to say the least, because he just held me closer and tighter in his arms. He just whispered in my ear, in a deep pantie dropping voice "Melanie you look so beautiful". He pulled away a little and kissed my cheek and it sent chills down my spine. I blushed looking into his blue-green eyes as he gently caressed my other cheek. I don't know how long we stayed there staring into each other's eyes, but I know it was long enough to hear someone clear their throat. and that's what brought us back to reality "you going to be late for school you two" my dad said as he smirked. We said sorry and said let's go Aiden said. I said yes. He opened the door to his beautiful Hunter green Lexus ES 350. As we were driving, he said he got this car as a late birthday gift from his Uncle Dean.
