“They want to meet you,” I said to brown eyes. We were in the kitchen doing homework at his house. I convinced him to move back in with his dad. I wanted him away from sweet pea and Jake, who was always at the house. I know sweet pea's game; she’s trying to make brown eyes jealous.
“Who?” he asked, putting a hand on my thigh. His palm radiated heat throughout my body and I burned. He is the only one that has ever affected me this way and I like it.
“My parents,” I replied. “They want to meet you and Marley.”
