my name is mira im now 28, this story started when I was a small child.

18 years ago

I was running in the forest when I fell, I hurt my leg badly, a handsome stranger helped me, I have held his name in my heart ever since I will one day thank him for getting me help that day, that day I lost everything.

my home, my friends my parents, I only survived because one friend Silvia told me to run with her, I was 10 when that happened.

I remember my parents were such powerful strong people but people were afraid, apart from a few. the boy who helped heal me and then I continued running, I had no choice, I hope that boy survived, I have no idea who he was, but he was very kind.

"are you sure he is coming here sweetheart" I froze hearing the alpha and his daughter is all over James to, my ex-mate, yes I was rejected a few days ago, I ignored them and got back to work.

"yes alpha" i then got back to work by the time we finished everything i finally went to bed.

The next morning I did all my chores including cleaning everywhere when the alpha told me go down the dungeons and whipped me because Bella told him I was hitting on her mate, I wasn't trying to force himself on me and said I was the one.

i got back to work after my lashings and was told to have a shower and got changed into a nice blue dress, my red hair was hanging down my back in curls and my back burned as i had get silvia to help cover my wounds.

we walked out and down the stairs when silvia hugged me and wished me happy birthday.

"Look, can you get the wine out for the royal family, they are at the gate im going out now"

"of course alpha" i bowed it killed me to bow it hurts so much.

"good" the alpha walked off, I got the wine and sorted all the tables with the flowers, I was about to go in the kitchen when I smelled vanilla and mint 'mate' my wolf whimpered, I saw him making out with a she wolf so carried on to the kitchen.

I was so bored of this already so I grabbed Sally's hand and took her to the side and pushed her against the wall kissing her when I heard my wolf 'mate' what, I pulled away from Sally and looked around, I saw the kitchen door close.

"you okay there, we can find a roo..."

"no, im not in the mood" i walked off to try to find my mate and the alpha was talking to my parents.

"you okay freddie" my mom asked.

"yes" my mum can tell something happened, im normally all for sally but i waited for my mate for too long.

I remembered the little girl I helped and how she ran after thanking me.

"shall we your majesty, we will get the wine brought out"

i knew my mate wouldnt want me, just then the alpha came to ask me and silvia bring out the wine to the royal family as we went outside i smelt vanilla and mint and followed the alpha as i lifted my head i saw my mate with the she wolfs hand down below and looked away.

"your drinks" the alpha said.

"hand them out" i handed them out and as i got to the she wolf she covered her glass.

"none for me thanks im pregnant" what, i froze for a minute when i nodded and carried on.

i watched my mates face fall and she walked away.

"how far are you dear" my mum asked.

"found out yesterday your majesty" sally blushed.

"did you know son" my dad asked glaring at me.

"first time i heard" mum noticed the aggitation in my voice.

"can i get a water please" she fluttered her eyes and thats when i realised my mate was back, oh f**k. i have not even met her properly and already f****d up.

"thank you" sally said as she put her hand back and once again my mate walks away.

we carry on idle chit chat and i can feel my mate near me, she poured my wine and i made sure she accidentally spilled it on me.

"i am so sorry, please let me dry those for you" she rushed.

"get your hands off my fiance" sally demanded.

she looked down and apologised profusely.

i got up telling my parents and sally im going go find a bathroom and change.

i saw my mate get hit and clenched my jaw. i have be careful.

i walked into the kitchen seeing my mate scamper to the sink.

"i apologise sir, for spilling it"

"do you know where i can find a bathroom, i would like to change"

"mira go help him find a bathroom and his room and then come down to the room"

i nodded to the alpha. feeling tears brimming already, i showed my mate to his room in complete quiet.

"i am really sorry sir" i kept my head down.

"i can clean your spoiled clothes if you like"

"thank you, it was not your fault"

i nodded and waited for his dirty clothes but he has not moved a muscle.

"can you look at me" i felt my eyes bulging.

he put two fingers under my chin and lifted my face.

"thats better, are you okay" why would he ask if i am okay.
