Chapter Twenty-Five Detectives Bennett and Thompson dropped Chap at his bank, just a street away from Police Headquarters. After completing what he considered to be an inordinate amount of paperwork, he was assigned a safety deposit box. A stern, ramrod-straight, senior bank employee led him to a large walk-in vault deep in the bowels of the bank building.
