Falling for a beast

Chapter 9

Ethan:

I was so bored. I am so used to her presence that my day was not passing. I knew where she has kept the files  but still I called her to help me. Her voice is so sweet. It makes me fall for her. Finally she was here. She was looking so hot in shorts and a shirt. I couldn't take my eyes off her. She was so happy. She also asked me to join them in a club but I was busy so I refused. 

When she left my office. My wolf told me she in danger. I could feel her fear. It's strange because we don't have any mark bond yet or we haven't mated yet. I heard her voice

"Leave me" 

I rushed out and saw Mr.Victor dragging her to lift. I just wanted to kill him. How could she do this to my mate my love in my office? So I quickly went to them pulling her wrist and securing her behind me. She was holding my arm so strongly. I could feel her shiver. The moment I got shocked was when he said he is family to Rose. 

After he left. She was in trauma. She just wanted to save Ben. I was asking her to tell me everything but she kept repeating about Ben. Finally she told me half of her truth and rushed to Ben. I called Nick and told him everything.

" Ethan we need to save her," Nick said.

" I know but we can't do anything to Victor yet," I told him

" yes but we can put some guards for them," Nick said

"She will not approve that you know her," I said worriedly

"Then we have no option," Nick said

" I will talk to Victor. I will give him a price for leaving them alone." I said calling him

"Oh Hello. I knew you would call." Victor said

"Listen I am not here for fun. Just speak up your price to leave them alone." 

"Well there is no price." He said in a serious voice.

" There is a price for everything. Tell me yours."

"Okay I want 50 million dollars." He said

" I will give you 70 million. Take that and don't hurt them." I said cutting the call.

"I guess this will work," Nick said

I didn't want to feel bad about it so I didn't tell her about money. Instead, I told her we just scared him so he is gone. She was so happy she thanked me. We have come closer than before but I still don't want her life to be difficult. I know she can't handle me like a king of the werewolf world. I know everything now. As she talks more to Grey than me in human form. It's been a week everything is going well. We talk we have lunch together. Her cooking skills are amazing. I even got to know why everyone calls her Panda. Yes they call her because she is soft and loving just as a panda. I am no longer jealous of those boys. They all treat her like a sister and she has spoiled them a lot. 

I saw her near the river, as usual, I change to wolf form and I run towards her. She giggled and hugged me. 

"Grey I missed you." She said smiling. I howled lightly.

" You know I am so happy Grey. I am in love." She said happily and my world collapsed.

"Hey why are you said?" she asked looking in my eyes. I wanted to ask her who he is? but her phone rang.

"Grey I have to leave but I promise I will tell you tomorrow." She said kissing my forehead.

I was broken. I don't know why I was feeling bad. I don't love her or I don't want her. Then I am feeling pain. I was feeling broken. I really wanted to tell her who I am.

Rose POV:

It's been a week. Thank God he has left. Ethan has changed so much. Last night we went to dinner. I have seen him getting jealous of other men. When they praise me. Maybe he is feeling the same fo me. He has been caring more nowadays. He is usually serious in office but when I give him his favorite coffee his face hits the prettiest smile. My heart is falling for him. Yesterday when I was walking through stairs I almost fall but thanks to him he got me. Our eyes matched and we looked into each other eyes. His eyes were filled with worry. Whenever he is near me. My heartbeat is so fast. I am blushing like an i***t. I always want to stay with him. I was thinking about all these things when I realized I am falling for him. Yes I am falling for a beast. I was so happy I told grey I am in love. He was sad. Maybe because he was thinking I will not visit him. Before I could tell him whom I love I got the call from Peter so I had to go. 

In the morning I was handing files to Ethan. When I got a call from unknown Id.

"Hi?" I said

" Rose. How bad we didn't met but this time you have to come to me otherwise you will lose your brother." I heard Victor's evil voice. My world collapsed. Does he have Ben with him? I was in fear. My tears starting to fall.

" Don't touch Ben," I said

" If you want him to be saved just listen to me and come to me." He said.

" I will do what you say just don't do anything to him," I said

"Good girl, Don't tell anyone about this. Otherwise, one click and Ben will Boom" He said laughing like a manic.

"Okay okay just tell me the address." I said.

" I am texting you. Remember any intelligent move by your side and Ben dies." He said and hanged up.

I was panicking I didn't know what to do. I can't talk to anyone. So I wrote a note and put on my desk. I grabbed my keys and rushed to the address. The address I received was for an Icecream factory. In half an hour I was there. I walked in and his men caught me.

"Welcome Rose. I knew you would never--"

"Where is Ben?" I asked cutting him

" He is not here." He said laughing

"What you did to him? Where is he?" I asked.

" Well there was no bomb. You fell in my trap darling." He said

" You have me just leave him alone," I said

" You know how much I waited for all this? You both are so stubborn like your parents." 

"They were stubborn to give me everything and then they refused to tell me about you guys. Now you guys are making this hard for me." He said slapping me hard and making me fall on the ground.

"Because of you guys I lost all the money." He said slapping me again hard.

"Sir he is here." His man said. When I looked it was Ben.

"No way you bought him. Let him go please." I said crying.

"Rose I am here. I will kill him." Ben said in anger and Victor headed towards him punching him

"NO please don't hurt him," I said running to him. He pushed me and I fell on the floor

" I am going to kill your sister first then you. See your self how I hurt her." Victor said heading towards me.

" Well you have grown beautiful" He said touching me.

"Get your hands off her," Ben said in anger while struggling

"Don't touch me," I said.

He pushed me table holding me tightly and then he ripped my shoulder off. He was trying to kiss me but I was struggling not to let him. Tears following from my eyes. I kicked him in pants and he cried in pain. 

I tried to run but his men caught me. 

"If you want to kill me then do it," I said shouting. He slapped me and pushed me to the floor. I hit something hard on my head. He was kicking me. I was crying in pain. My vision was getting blur but I was still trying to focus. I heard car voices and Men voices. I saw them fighting with Victor's men. Benjamin was hitting Victor everywhere. When he falls on the floor he rushed to me. I saw Victor point the gun at him. I pushed him and bullet hit me. Benjamin caught me before falling. I saw Ethan. He was beating him. I saw him with blurry eyes. He took out his heart with his bare hands and I blacked out.

I was feeling numb. I could hear Benjamin crying. My heart shrank listening to him. He was crying hard. Asking me to wake up. I even heard Ethan's voice. All voices faded again. My throat was burning. My body was aching. My eyes wanted to open but I can't. I forced them to open and finally. I saw light stabbing straight into my eyes. I blinked a few times to adjust them.

I looked all around I was in the hospital. Oxygen mask attached to me. Wires attached to my body with a drip. I saw Benjamin sleeping on my right holding my hand. I moved my hand and he woke up.

"Rose....Rose." He said looking at me and hugging me.

"ahh" I said in pain. I looked at him his shirt was still with my blood. His hair messed up. His shave has grown a little.

"Oh I am sorry. I just got excited. Rose I thought I lost you." he said crying.

"Water," I said with burning throat.

"Here" He said carefully lifting me to sit and placing glass to my lips. I drank the water and looked at him.

" Stop crying I am fine," I said wiping his tears.

"No you are not. You have been out for 2 days." He said crying.

" I was out for 2 days?" I asked shocked.

"Yes panda. I failed to save you." He said crying.

"Come here, lay down with, me," I said hugging him

"Listen you saved me. I was the one who passed you." I said kissing his forehead

" Rose Ethan killed him. He was so worried about you." He said

" Ben why didn't you changed?" I asked 

" I was here all the time. I didn't want to lose you. Ethan was here the whole time too. Nick took him home because he was getting out of his mind." He said

"Okay come on. Enough of fears. He is dead and now I am alive. You go home and clean up." I said smiling kissing his head.

"Okay, but I don't--"

"Just do what I say. Lucas is here and you can call Seth and other minions too." I said 

"Okay, I will be back in 10" he said kissing my cheek and going out.

 Soon Lucas was here. He checked me and told me I have to rest as my wound is still not healed. The bullet hitter me on the shoulder. So I have to prevent extra movement of my arm. We talked for a few minutes when Ethan knocked and came inside.
