It's been 2 weeks Ethan has become soft. He doesn't insult me or disguise me. Most of the time I zoned out just looking at him. He is so handsome and intelligent. If he hadn't done all that. I would be in love with him no I am actually in love with him. He has changed a little. He talks with me and tries to be friendly. I have seen him smiling one or two times. His smile is breathtaking. Ben is still really possessive towards me. He always says he will kill him if anything he did to me. I have been so busy these days I can't have time with my minions.
So this Saturday we have planned to go for a picnic. I am going to take off from the office.
" Mr. Rand I have something to ask you," I said while sitting next to him
" How many times I have told you to call me Ethan." He said looking at me.
" I am sorry. Ethan can I have leave for this Saturday? I have to go on a picnic with minions I mean with my brothers and his friends." I said smiling.
" Yes rose you can have." He said with a light smile.
"Thank you," I said going back to my room.
"Listen" He said and I stopped in my way.
" I know I have been a jerk but I had a bad past. I want to be your friend just like others. If it's possible?" He said
"Umm... It's okay I have forgiven you. I don't know if it's suitable to be friendly with you as you are my boss." I said looking down.
"You are a friend to Nick. Can't I be one also?" He asked.
My heart was beating so fast in excitement. Does he want to get closure to me? Is he feeling the same as I do? What should I say I was lost. When he held me from arms.
"Listen if you are---"
"Okay we are friends," I said smiling cutting him between.
It's Saturday we are at the park. we were playing Valle ball. I was wearing shorts and a baggy shirt. I made sandwiches, pasta, and pastries fo all. Bella bought Pizza and Trix bought kababs. we were sitting and eating when my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hi Rose sorry to disturb you but can you come to office it's urgent," Ethan said
" Well, I am free I can come but I am wearing casual," I said
"It's okay I just can't find few files." He said.
"Okay I will be there in 10," I said and hang up.
"Ben I need keys to your car. I have to go to the office." I said
"Why? What? No? " All these words were bombed on me.
" Guys calm down I will be back in time. It's important." I said.
"Okay we are going to club join us there later," Ben said throwing keys to me.
"Okay baby I will be there," I said smiling
Thanks to Ben's car. I arrived in almost 5 minutes to the office. I went inside and everyone was looking at me. I buried to lift. Once I arrived at the office. I knocked.
"come in." He said
" Hey I am here," I said looking at him and he was staring at me like an i***t. I coughed.
"Oh yeah. I can't find file of Mr.Martin. I have looked but I can't find." He said
"It's okay," I said going towards his cupboard drawer.
"Here you go. yesterday I put it here. I forgot to tell you." I said smiling.
"Thankyou rose. So how is your picnic going?" He said
"it's going amazing I said smiling. Maybe you should join." I said
"No you know I have work" He said.
"Your bad. I should get going." I said smiling
"Bye" I said and exited his office.
I walked to the lift and when the door's opened I was shocked. What is he doing here? He saw me and his expressions darken.
"Well finally we meet." My uncle said.
" I don't know you," I said walking to another lift.
"You know who I am. It looks like it's time to finish our unfinished business." He said holding my wrist.
"Leave me alone" I said. Hoping Nick or Ethan came here to save me.
"No one is going to save you now." He said.
"Leave her hand." I heard Ethan's cold voice.
" Mr. Rand. Hello I have something to discuss with my niece" he said dragging me.
" I said leave her," Ethan said taking my hand in the and j*********f his hand.
"Mr. Rand we are family you have no rights." He said
"Mr. Victor she is my girlfriend. So I have all rights and you have no right to touch her." Ethan said. I was feeling so safe with him. Did he really mean I am his girlfriend?
"Okay I will leave but Rosalie we will talk. " He said before leaving.
I was shivering with fear. He knows now we are here. He will kill us. He will harm Benjamin. I have to save him. Omg what will I do? Where will I go? I was thinking all this in my mind when I felt someone shaking me.
"Rose listen to me," Ethan said
"Ye..yes" I said with a broken voice.
"Why are you crying?" he asked wiping my tears.
"I...I... Ben. I need to call Ben." I said taking out my phone.
"You need to calm down and tell me first," Ethan said. He took me to his office giving me water.
" Are you really family?" He asked and I nodded
"I need to save Ben," I said
" You are not safe. you can't go alone." He said
" I just need to safe Ben," I said
" Listen tell me everything. I can help" Ethan said holding my hand
" he...he is our 2nd uncle. He was the cousin of our father. He killed my parents and wanted to kill us too but Mom Dad secretly sends us here with Peter. He was not able to find us but now. He will kill us." I said crying
" Why he wants to kill you both?" He asked worriedly
"All business he is holding is ours. If anyone gets to know we are alive he will lose everything." I told him
"I have to go," I said running to the car.
I rushed to the club and saw Ben enjoying it. My heart tightens. I can't let anything happen to him. I drag him out going straight home. He was confused about why I am doing this.
"Ben you have to leave," I said packing his bags
"Why? "
"Because I am saying to you," I said
"I don't want to leave you"
" You have to please. Listen to me." I said cupping his cheek.
"Why are you acting like this? What has happened?" He asked
"NOTHING," I said
"Rose don't lie."
"Please Benjamin listen to me."
"No I am not going.
"Ben He will kill you. He knows" I said crying
" What? He is here?" Ben was shocked
"Yes He saw me in office and now he is going to track us," I said crying
"Listen we are not going anywhere." Ben said
" I don't want you to die just go please"
"Rose we are going to face him this time. I am strong " Ben said.
