chapter 11

I was waiting for him. I saw him changing. I was not scared of him. I just wanted to ask if I saw that right but he denied. I wanted him to know how much I love him but he felt me. I told him not to leave but he walked away. I was broken. I sat there crying. I should have known he will never accept me.  I was crying. When Grey came but he stopped. I wanted to hug him and cry. He was not letting me touch him. I couldn't take it. I ran from there. I locked my self in my room. 

It's been 3 days. I am locked here. Ben is knocking every single minute but I don't answer to him. Everyone has tried to talk to me but I want to stay alone. I want to go away. For once I thought I will be happy. I will have someone to love but he rejected me. My phone has 2000 miss calls and 4000 messages from everyone. I was fed up with crying and being sad. So I decided to leave the city for some time. Ben was knocking again. So I opened the door.

"Rose what the hell? What has happened?" He asked

" Ben I am sorry," I said I know he is hurt because of me.

"Have you been crying? You have eye bags and you are pale. Why were you not opening the door?" He asked

"Ben I want to go somewhere else," I said hugging him and crying.

"Rose just tell me who hurt you?" He asked worriedly

"No one. I am going somewhere for some time." I said with a broken voice

"Okay just tell me where you want to go and I will book our tickets." He said

"Ben you have school. I will go alone." I said 

"f**k it. I am going with you and that's final." He said.

"Just pack your bag we are going to Paris. You love it right?" He said 

"Okay," I replied with a broken smile.

"Ben can you get me a new number?" I said and he was confused

"Sure I will bring it." He said kissing my cheek.

I packed my bags. Ben was out don't know where. He also took my phone so I couldn't call him. After like an hour he came back he was furious. He was babbling something. When he saw me he just smiled.

"Are we ready?" He asked

"Yeah I am," I said smiling. From now on I am just going to have fun. I have Ben I don't need anyone else.

"Let's Go" He said taking me out and Seth was there in his car.

BEN POV:

She took the bullet for me. My world ended when I saw her lifeless in my arms. Her blood on my clothes. No I can't lose her. I am not ready. She is the only one I have. 2 days these f*****g 2 days I was beside her waiting for her to open her eyes. I was missing her voice. I wished so hard to be okay. Everything was normal. She was smiling playing with us. living her perfect life. I saw her eyes glow. She has found someone I guess. She was so changed and now what? She is locked in her room.

3 days back I was reading my book when she came in running to her room and locked. I knocked and knocked asked her what has happened no answer. I tried to call her for lunch dinner but she never opened her room. I was helpless. I called Seth in worries. He came everyone came but still closed. I stayed by her door waiting for her to tell me. I wanted to know who has done this to her. I will snap his head.

My anger was growing day by day. She was not answering calls or messages either. Finally, she opened her door. I was shocked to see her. Her eyes were red. There were eyebags under her eyes. She was looking so weak and pale. My heart tighten looking at her like this. She was still not telling me anything. She only wanted to leave New York. So I told her I will take her to her favorite Paris.  Then she asked me to change her number so I grabbed her phone and went out. It was the best opportunity to know who was the last person she contacted. 

I opened her phone while sitting in my car. There were infinite messages and calls. Finally, I found the name it was Ethan.  So Ethan has said or done something to her. How could he? I thought he cared about her. I was boiling in anger. I headed to his office. Once I reached I didn't ask the permission just stormed in his office. Grabbing his collar pushing him to the wall and punched him in the face.

"You... What have you done to my sister?" I asked in anger.

" What do you mean I haven't seen her from 3 days." He said pushing me away.

"Yes you haven't seen her because she locked her in her room and she has been not drinking eating or talking to anyone," I said 

" She Locked herself?" He asked.

"Yes you i***t. You were the last person who met her now spit it out what you said to her which made her hurt?" I said pushing him to the wall.

" You should ask her." He said 

"You bastard I will kill you," I said punching him and he punched me back. 

Nick came inside running separating us.

"What the hell is happening?" He asked 

" Why don't you ask your friend? Who has hurt Rose so much that she locked her self for three days." 

"Ethan what have you done?" Nick asked

"I am not answerable to anyone you. Get lost. I will talk to her." He said

"Listen you bastard. You are not going any near her. I will snap your neck." I said in anger. Nick was holding me tightly.

" I can talk to her whenever I want." He said coldly.

"Oh no you can't she is leaving us because of you. I will never let you go near her again. Curse you Mr. Rand." I said leaving.

I booked the tickets and went home. I was cursing him all the way. When I entered the house Rose was waiting for me. She smiled but her smile was broken. I could see the pain in her smile. Well, we catch our plane and we were in Paris. It's been a week since her mood has better than before. We went to Disney land. We went to Eiffel tower and many more paces. We have been enjoying these days together. She has changed. She is not bubbly like before but she still loves me and plays with me. 

  One day we were Arc De Triomphe. She was looking at the water.

"Ben I want to go to London." She said making me confuse

"London why?" I asked

" It's time to get what's ours." She said smiling.

" You know I can't leave you alone there," I said

" Ben you have to complete your studies. I will hold the business and we will shift it to New York." She said.

"Are you really serious about this?"

"Yes I am as ow Victor is dead. It's time we take hold of our father's hard work." She said

" Okay then I am coming with you." 

"No Ben please listen to me. Stay in NewYork. Help me shift all business there. I need you to do work there. " She said

"But--"

" Ben please listen to me for once." She said 

" Okay as you say," I said in defeat.

She called Peter and told him everything. He said he will be there in New York. Rose told me to return to New York. on the same day, I went back home and she went to London. Peter already arranged everything for her. She was so busy in all business things that we could barely talk. Nick and Ethan tried to call me to ask about her but I refused. Nick even tried to contact others but they were as angry as me. So no one gave them any clue about her. 

one day Ethan came to me saying sorry and asked me to tell her number or address. He wanted to apologize but I didn't. I know she is trying to focus on other things to forget her pain. I can't let her go through all this again.
