Kalayaan's POV "Sir, your mother is calling you. She was asking why did you show up just now—” Yuri Sphinxx's maid cut whatever she was saying when she saw him lying on top of me. I immediately saw her eyes widen before she turned away. "Well, I'm sorry, Sir, but you're going to make your mother even madder by this!" The old woman shook her head while leaving Yuri Sphinxx's room. I heard Yuri Sphinxx's soft laugh before grinning. I also laughed and pushed him with my foot. I even glare at him a little. "You're thick-skinned to steal a kiss," I said, shaking my head. Well, I'm not at a loss because his lips taste good. I just laughed at myself before my eyes narrowed as I stared at him. "So why did you let me come here?" I asked, now folding my arms while looking at him. "Don't tell me you want to touch my body even if we're not married yet?" I immediately hugged my body so he gave me a sharp look. I just laughed softly. "As if you're my taste. I don't like you, stop overthinking because you don't have to." He even grinned insultingly at me there. "Hey! I also have a nice body, you i***t!" He just shrugs as if not really interested. I just rolled my eyes at him. "I'll just give you an offer first before Lolo does," he said before shrugging his shoulders. "If we got married, we wouldn't care about each other's business. Don't follow Grandpa's order too. I'll double all his offers after that.” My eyes narrowed at him. He looks like someone who just does things on his own. “Hmm, I'll think about it first. As long as no one knows that we have a talk about this," I said to him, making him nod. Looks like he makes me enter his room because there are many eyes outside and there's a lot of CCTV too. When I came home, I immediately told about Yuri's Grandfather's offer. "Huh? What do you mean by that, Kaly? You can't do that! Are you going to sell yourself for that?” “It's a hundred thousand a month! We don't need to steal if I ever decide to take the offer!” I can see how they look at me. Their eyes are narrowing at me now. "It's a sacred thing, Kaly. We're not even letting anyone court you here," Kuya Bitoy said. "You know that it's not a sacred thing at all to me. If I can marry a rich old man, I can also do it just for us to stop being poor. And for Lola too…” They all know that I'm serious so they kept their worried look at me before slowly sighing because they can't do anything when I already decide something. We are five cousins and I am the only girl. We're living at my grandmother's house. My cousin's parents already have a new family while me, I'm not even sure where they are. All I know is that they just left me to Grandma. Lola's still working at a public supermarket. She doesn't know what I'm doing at night. What she knows is that we all work. She really wants me to stop because she wants me to continue my studies but I just don't want to be a burden on my relatives. They already did their best for me to graduate in senior high school and up to 2nd-year college. After that, Grandma got sick so I stopped. Her pain is constant so I really just want to have money on hand if she needs it. Some of my cousins agree with what I will do but some don't want it. I didn't tell Grandma about the deal. But I gave her a brief idea that I have a boyfriend that I really like. She was very happy with that thought while my cousins laughed at my lies. I'm guilty but I don't want her to be suspicious. And now, I'm already here in front of Mr. Falcon while he is having tea. "You may sit down, Hija," he said so I nodded before sitting down. "I know both of us are busy so I want to brief you about the deal now." He put down the tea he was drinking before looking directly at me. “Yuri is a brat. He was the only one who couldn't be serious in life. His brother and cousin are already managing their own company and are already married. They already have their kids and own family but my grandson is still worrying about his mother with all the dangerous stunts he has in life. I want you to change him through this marriage," he said to me. "Oh, I'm just wife material, I'm not a magician." He looked at me coldly so I pouted. "I want you to stop him from doing those things and get him serious with life." I also can't really get the rich sometimes. They will say that people are not serious in life just because what they want is different from what others want. "It's a one-year contract, after a year of being married this will end, and of course, your marriage too. So don't worry. 150 thousand a month.” My eyes gradually widened. "And you'll have a bonus whenever you're able to stop him from doing dangerous hobbies and making him work in my company," he said so my eyes immediately lit up. "Are you in, Ms. Madrigal?” he asked me. I just pretended to think more. I can't say yes right away. "What about 200 thousand a month? I think me being a wife is expensive," I proudly said. "Alright. That's no problem at all," he said, so my lips parted slowly. He's easy to talk to. "It's a deal then," I said before grinning and extending my hand to him. He looked at it for a moment before calling his secretary. I immediately gasped when I saw that there was a contract right in front of me. My eyes widen a little because there is a downpayment right away. Easy money. The old man seemed to have read my mind before he chuckled. "Don't think that it's an easy job. My grandson is like a wild lion in a forest. He's hard to tame." Hmm, let's see about that.
