Mate This Isn't The End

Episode # 11

Episode # 11:-

“Asher?” Skylar called him. Asher shook his head to shrug all the thoughts of the things which he had seen in his dream. “What happened to you?” Skylar asked while cupping his face in her both hands.

Her hands were chilly against his warm cheeks. Asher, who saw concern in her eyes, smiled at her and while keeping his hands over her, said, “Nothing, I’m fine, don’t take any tension dear, I’m fine.”

“But you were looking tense in your sleep, and when I tried to wake you up, you were not waking up, you were turning your sides again and again. It was looking as if you are disturbed because of something. I was trying to calm you down, but you were not at all listening to me,” Skylar said in a sad tone. 

“My love, it was because I’m a heavy sleeper, and about turning my sides again and again, then maybe I was seeing something in my dream and could not understand that thing, don’t worry I’m fine,” Asher said with a light chuckle.

“What did you just said?” Skylar asked on which Asher frowned a little, but later he realized that he called her, My Love. After hearing the word “My Love,” from his mouth, she could hear nothing else.

“Sky…,” Asher opened his mouth, but before that only, Skylar jumped in his arm and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Asher, please don’t do this, I’m afraid that someday, someone will snatch you from me, I don’t want to lose you, but I’m afraid. I’m afraid that if happiness came in my life then again someone will come and snatch my happiness from me, you are my only happiness Asher, I don’t want to lose you, ever,” Skylar said in a crying tone.

Asher got startled on her sudden hug. However, later, he came in his senses after hearing her cries. (He knew till the time she will not come to know about werewolves she will remain confused like this. Her mind knew everything. It was just there was a dark black curtain between her present and past. And Asher was determined that soon he will raise that curtain so that his tiny little mate could live her life like a werewolf.)

(It was just, he was waiting for a lead, so that he will help his mate.)

Being a werewolf, it’s normal to fell in love with your mate without knowing each other. But, as Skylar knows nothing, that’s why it was getting overwhelming for her. Her heart already accepted Asher on the first glance, but she was unknown from that fact.

“Shh, Sky, stop crying, please love,” Asher said and broke the hug. Skylar’s eyes were red, and her nose resembled a cherry. A chuckle escaped from Asher’s mouth after seeing her face because she was looking damn cute.

He bend his head a little and pecked her nose, which was cold as ice even in that centrally heated room. A gasp escapes from her mouth. She was gazing at him with wide eyes and open mouth.

“What? Can’t I kiss my girl?” Asher asked while rolling his tongue in his mouth to stop his smile after seeing her expressions.

“You..,” Skylar tries to say something with a red face, but no word came out from her mouth, and she hides her face in his arms. Asher laughs out loud after seeing this and wrapped his arms around her.

“I know it’s overwhelming for you, but I love you, Skylar. Just wait for a few days, you will come to know everything, trust me,” Asher said and kissed above her head.

“I don’t know why, but I trust you more than myself,” Skylar murmured against his chest and snuggled more in his embrace. She always felt good in his arms, because his embrace always gives her a warm feeling. Skylar always felt that Asher’s body was a warm one as compared to her cold body temperature.

A smile came on Asher’s lips. Because more than love, the thing which matters for him was the trust of his mate. (“Keep your eyes and mind open,”) suddenly Moon Goddess words rang again in his mind.

“What she meant by this? Is it related to Skylar?” Asher thought while eyeing Skylar, who was sitting calmly in his embrace. “Hell will freeze if something happened to her,” Asher said to himself and possessively wrapped his arms again around her.

“Nobody can snatch what is mine,” Asher said in his mind and gave a tight kiss over her head. “We will talk to dad tomorrow,” Asher said to Alex, who also nodded his head in agreement.

Next Morning:-

“Sky, I have some work with my dad, would you like to come with me? You can meet my parents,” Asher asked her who came out from the bathroom after taking a shower and changing her clothes. Skylar who heard him become nervous. Meeting his parents? She didn’t think about that thing till now and today when Asher is asking about meeting his parents? Will she able to do that?

“Will your parents like me? Will they accept me as your girlfriend?” She asked while fidgeting with her fingers.

“They are dying to meet you. My parents are happy, trust me. From the day I’ve told them about you, they wanted to meet you. Especially my mom, she all the time kept eating my head that when I’ll introduce my girlfriend to them. Don’t worry, I promise you will feel good after meeting them,” Asher said and held her from her shoulders. “Okay,” she said in a meek tone. 

“Wait for a while, let me dry my hair,” Skylar said and dried her hair with a hairdryer. Asher till the time was sitting on the bed and doing something on his cellphone. Skylar dried her hair and braided them. “I’m ready,” Skylar said while giving a last glance at herself in the mirror. Asher who heard this got up from the bed, and while keeping the cellphone in his back pocket, he came near her.

“So, shall we go?” Asher asked on which Skylar nodded her head. On seeing this Asher also said nothing, he just gave her an encouraging smile, and while holding her hand came out of their room. Asher ordered all the youngsters to not roam in the form of groups, because of Skylar’s presence in the pack-house.

(The entire pack was happy after getting to know that finally, their Alpha has found his mate, and they were dying to meet their Luna. But as Asher didn’t allow them, that’s why they are just waiting for the day when they will meet their Luna.

Asher’s, ancestors did a lot of hard work to make this pack crime-free. They never encouraged any wrong thing, nor they allowed anyone to man-handle other. The one who ever did that got the worst punishment, that’s why their pack was famous around the werewolf world as the strongest and the most respectable Pack.

Enemies think thousands of time before attacking them, because they knew that if ever they think about this thing, then they have to face a living hell.)

Skylar felt tingles, but she knew that she would get no answer, so she kept quiet. It’s not that she doesn’t like those tingles, it’s just the feeling was a little weird, that why she feels those tingles only with Asher? She many times shook hand with Julia and other girls, but she felt no tingles while touching them. 

The walk to his parent’s house was silent. They both were feeling each other’s presence by holding each other’s hands.

“Asher why silence is peaceful sometimes more than talking? Why sometimes we feel peace in silence, rather than voicing our thoughts?” Skylar asked while tilting her head towards him, thanks to his hulk-like height. (She was sure as hell that one day her neck will be stretched and it will become long like a swan.) Asher, who heard her question, looks down and found her already gazing at him.

“This happens because sometimes, silence answers those questions which your words couldn’t be able to form. Sometimes you cannot form a particular answer for a particular question,” Asher replied while pressing her hand a little. A beautiful smile was playing on his lips while saying those words. 

“Will you always trust me?” Skylar asked him while stopping in her track. Asher, who was having her hand in his, felt a tug, and he also stopped. After hearing her question, he turns his face towards her. Asher while putting his hands on her shoulders, “Look at me Sky,” he said and with that tilt her head towards him while keeping a hand under her chin.

Skylar looked above and found him already gazing at her. “Before love, I trust you more than myself, so if you had a tiny bit doubt, that someday I’ll distrust you and will leave you alone, then throw that doubt far away, where you will not be able to reach, ever. Because distrusting you means, that I’m distrusting myself,” Asher said and cupped her cheeks in his hands. Her cheeks were as usual cold as ice.

“You need to open up in front of me, Sky; I know that you have wounds inside your heart, which are stopping you from thinking about anything. Just let me in, Sky, I promise I’ll heal your wounded heart, I’ll stop the bleeding of your wounded heart, that’s my promise, your Asher’s promise.”

Skylar was tongue-tied again after hearing his words. Every day, his respect was increasing in her eyes. Many times this thought crossed her mind, that how come she became this lucky to get a person like him? How easily this person thrown in her fate? Is she this much lucky, to get a person like him in her life? Or it was some illusion? Which will break one day?

“When I became this lucky that I got you in my life? I feel that it’s an illusion, and I’m just hallucinating about you,” She said in a whisper, on which Asher with a smile shook his head and said, “It’s me Skylar who is lucky on getting you in my life, and you are not at all hallucinating. It’s the truth, I’m standing in front of you, in real.”

“The day you came in my life, I was the happiest soul, trust me. It’s cheesy, I know, but this is the truth, that you have brightened my life with your arrival,” Asher said while rubbing his thumbs over her cold cheeks.

Skylar kept staring at his handsome face, she knew that he is the most attractive person she ever met, but today he was looking dashing with his messy silky hair falling on his forehead.

It was a time when the sun was setting, and Asher was standing in that direction, from where sun rays were directly falling on his back. His eyes were looking more light yet beautiful in that orange sunlight. His jet black hair was looking maroon because of the orange sunlight, which was falling on them.

She wanted to keep staring at him for her entire life. He was her that dream which she never thought will get fulfilled. She opened her mouth to say something else but…,

“I love you,” these words left her mouth without her knowledge.
