14 Raerdel didn’t like the sound of what Sin was saying. Pulling away from him, she walked over to the window overlooking the front lawn of the castle. “What are you talking about, Sin? What have I done now? Come to try and help?” Hands grabbed her arms and she tilted her head back and rested against Sin’s chest. She felt his chest rise on a long sigh before he spoke. “Your grandmother wanted us together. You’ve delivered us to her. I thought I could get her to leave you alone and deal with the Darkness at the same time.” Shaking her head, she murmured, “We’ve talked about making choices for me. I don’t want you to jump a grenade for my sake. I want to help be part of the solution. How are we going to have any sort of relationship if you keep making decisions about me without my input?”
