Tristan
I lead Hazel through the woods it wasn’t far to go to where I wanted to show her it was a magical place that I usually only ever went to alone to get away from everything but I really wanted to share it with Hazel, I could sense her unease at being in the woods and probably alone with me who she barely knew I gave her hand a reassuring squeeze “nearly there” I told her grinning she smiled back at me that smile could melt my heart alone, after a little while longer we got to a small clearing at the bottom of a steep hill it was dark so Hazel wouldn’t of been able to see what was at the top yet I could feel her starting to pull away from me clearly nervous now we had gone so far into the woods “honestly not much further now” I told her usually I ran up here in wolf form so walking was taking a little longer than I remembered, we were nearing the top of the steep hill, I was getting excited it was a full moon tonight it would look spectacular up here under the moon and the stars, we finally made it to the top of the hill, Hazel stopped in her tracks gazing at the scene before us a ruined castle nestled atop of the hill lit up by the moonlight Hazel walked towards it eyes wide in wonder as the stars glittered above us setting the perfect backdrop I gazed at my mate this was the most romantic place I could think of and the night sky tonight was just making it easy for me, Hazel gazed around touching the old stones of the once magnificent castle “wow Tristan this place is amazing” she gasped “beautiful isn’t it” I watched her “yes” she breathed we walked to the middle of the castle the stone ruins still had some of the old walls intake Hazel stood in the middle of what I had guessed had been a great hall, I watched Hazel as she stood there in the most beautiful place in the world, the moonlight was illuminating her perfect body she was taking my breath away and she had no idea of the effect that she had on me, Hazel turned to face me an enchanting smile was on her lips I slowly walked closer to her “a beautiful place for a beautiful girl” I whispered she wasn’t laughing this time she was looking at me differently I wasn’t sure what she was thinking “it truly is magical up here” her eyes not leaving mine the mate bond had been pulling me to kiss her since I first laid my eyes on her but it didn’t feel like the right time but up here in the moonlight I felt like it was the right time so I bent down to kiss her she stood on her tip toes and wrapped her arms round my neck and lightly kissed me back it was just a small kiss but my heart was bursting.
Hazel
I couldn’t believe the beauty and peacefulness of the castle it was stunning I had never been somewhere so amazing I felt magic in the air as I stood in the middle of the ruins, I was feeling so drawn to Tristan I hadn’t had much experience with boys but nothing I had experienced was nothing on how romantic as Tristan had shown me in just a few hours maybe there was more too him then that intense stare, I felt drawn to him like there was no one else for me but him, the feeling was making me uneasy I had known him literally a few hours, he was gorgeous and kind and romantic but I had just met him all the same, as much as I loved walking around under the stars I was getting chilly and wanted to head back maybe he could bring me here again, maybe, “Tristan, I'm getting cold can we head back" I asked him wrapping my arms around myself he looked at me wide eyed “of course I'm sorry I was lost up here a moment" he rushed and started walking back down the hill I followed him I was happy with my dress choice but annoyed at myself for not bringing a jacket I still had to walk home yet. It was getting late by the time we had gotten back to the pack house me and Tristan had had easy pleasant conversation on the way back maybe he really was a good guy, “I’m going to find Mel” I told him heading into the dance floor it was quieter now people either had gone home or couples of the night where somewhere together, I found Mel sat outside with Lucas I wasn't sure what had happened between them but she was eager to go home when I mentioned it I wanted to say goodbye to Tristan so I scanned the garden to look for him he was talking to a tall guy I made my way over to him "we are leaving now, just thought I would say goodbye” my teeth chatting now from the cold "your freezing let me grab you a jacket and walk you back please” he asked sincerity in his eyes I was freezing I guess “yes please could I borrow a jacket Mel too if possible and you can walk us back" I gave him a small smile grateful for his chivalry, we all walked to the front hall way of the pack house Lucas wanted to walk Mel back she seemed slightly more guarded with him I guessed he had tried to take it too far she was staying at mine tonight so she would tell me later, Tristan had ran upstairs and came running back down with two jackets we gratefully put them on and walked out into the night, I was walking next to Tristan and Mel next to Lucas she seemed more relaxed now we were outside just the four of us, me and Tristan talked a little he was funny he had me laughing so much my stomach was starting to hurt, we made our way back to my house we were just entering the fairy village when a noise rustled in the bushes Lucas and Tristan looked ready to pounce into the bushes as they rustled something or someone was in there, Tristan let out a loud growl and the rustling stopped “show yourself" Tristan barked in a tone that I didn’t realise he was capable of, the rustling slowed until a small figure appeared out from behind the bush "Nessa!” Mel shouted it was her little sister who had been dying to go to the party but wasn’t allowed, Nessa shuffled her feet looking down “what are you doing here Nessa” Mel demanded from her sister "I just wanted to go to the party so I sneaked out but it was late and dark and I got scared so I just decided to wait until i saw you and Hazel coming back" she whimpered tears in her eyes “come on sweetie let's get you home” I hushed her wrapping an arm around her shoulder we walked back to Mel's house first “I'll have to go in with her Hazel an make sure she goes to bed" she seethed glaring at her sister "yes that's fine, I'll see you tomorrow?” I questioned her "yes meet me for breakfast at the café” she winked at me I knew she wanted to talk to me about everything that had happened tonight “will you be ok going home” Mel asked eyeing the guys as they stood down the path, she had told Lucas she would see him again so they must have had a good time tonight “yeah I'll be fine, go look after your sister” I told her smiling "ok see you in the morning” "goodnight" I called turning to walk back down the path to the guys “ok I'm not far from here" I told them they followed me round to my parents little cottage it was quaint nothing to fancy but it was home and I loved it, "ok this is me" I declared turning to the guys Lucas said goodbye to me and wandered off down the path giving me and Tristan some space he was looking at me a strange expression on his face “can I see you again Hazel" he looked nervous, I wasn’t sure surely this wouldn’t become anything it wasn’t encouraged fairies and wolves being in a relationship I knew of a few that had ended in heartache and no one knew if it was because of the couple or the elders on both sides splitting them up, I gazed up at Tristan's large brown eyes they were wide and vulnerable looking “yes I'll see you again" I giggled as his face lit up “great, I'll give you my number” he grinned broadly we exchanged numbers and he hugged me goodnight, he was rather sweet I would give him that.
