Chapter Seventeen

Hazel

Ruby screeched she was laid on Tristan's bed half naked "what are you doing in here" I shouted back at her “Tristan left the door unlocked he always does that when he wants company so I thought I would be that company seen as he hasn't wanted any in ages" she pouted "now get out and stop nosing where you shouldn’t” Ruby glared at me "no the room was unlocked to let me in Damien ordered it” I shouted furiously standing my ground who did this b***h think she was she knew I was here with Tristan anger boiling in me I wanted her out of his room it was making me feel sick it was one thing to hear about your man sleeping with someone before you but to see the b***h waiting for him was another thing entirely, “your lying he left it open for me, we both know the score” Ruby smirked running her hand over his bed sheets I was seething now "please leave Ruby" I demanded trying to keep my cool “oooo and who do you think you are missy, your nothing but some silly fairy who by the looks of things has no powers what so ever” Ruby said mockingly “I would like you to leave now please Ruby" I told her again anger creeping into my voice “no, ill wait for Tristan” she pouted looking at her nails taking no notice of me, I couldn’t take any more of it I stormed out of the room I was going home I’m not being messed about by Tristan if he was with Ruby that much he should of at least mentioned her to me or told her about me. I got to the front door of the pack house and two guards stopped me from leaving “sorry miss you have to stay in the pack house” one of them told “no I’m leaving right now” I screamed my anger now getting the better of me “hey its just orders” the guard shrugged his shoulders but not moving “right well tell your Alpha then I’m phoning my brother to come and get me if he likes it or not" I huffed pulling out my phone it didn’t ring for long before Joe picked up “hey Haze you ok” came my brothers voice “no I’m not can you come and get me from the pack house please” I asked him my voice letting the anger seep through "erm yeah sure I’ll come now, everything ok" he questioned me "I’ll tell you after” I told him putting the phone down I leaned against the wall with my arms crossed waiting for my brother, one of the guards came up to me “the Alpha asked for you to wait here he won't be long” “well you can tell him there’s already someone waiting for him in his room and I’m not being second best!” I shouted at the guard angrily I wasn’t messing around now I wanted to go home Tristan would be better off with Ruby she was sexy, fierce and a wolf he didn’t need some silly fairy girl who needed protection all the time, a tear fell unwanted from my eye my anger turning to hurt as quickly as it came but I needed to pull myself together I wasn’t letting anyone see me weak I heard the noise of wings outside and I rushed to the entrance the guards once again stood in the way of me leaving “let me through my brother is here to take me home now” I demanded "sorry the Alpha said you need to stay and talk to him he will be here any moment” the guard said "no I want to leave" anger rising in me again who was he to stop me going home “Haze what’s going on?” my brother asked looking confused from behind the guards “let my brother in at least” I told them they looked at each other and stepped aside for my brother to come in "in here Joe, I'll tell you what’s going on” I told my brother leading him into an empty room Joe looked at me bewildered “Hazel what is happening why won't they let u go with me, why are you even here” Joe asked throwing his hands up, I filled him in quickly on what had happened he looked shocked “your mates with the Alpha” he whispered "unfortunately yes" I replied “wow now that’s not something you hear every day” Joe said taking a step back “I know but its turns out he’s a sleaze and I want to go home” I shouted loud enough for everyone to hear the door then burst open making me and Joe jump Tristan was stood with a panicked look on his face “Hazel what’s going on what are you talking about second best” he said rushing to me "I’ll give you two a minute Joe said going to stand in the hall” we both nodded at him once he had left the room Tristan held on to my arms “what happened Hazel” his face etched with hurt watching me closely "well Polly took me to your room to take a shower and settle in but when I got in the room you already had someone waiting for you” I spat at him "what, who?" Tristan asked looking shocked “Ruby” my voice dripping with venom as I said her name he closed his eyes running his hand through his hair he sighed “yeah should of told me about her shouldn’t you” I shouted "look Hazel, yes I used to sleep with Ruby I haven’t slept with her since meeting you and I didn’t saying anything about her because to be honest she doesn’t mean that much to me and I forgot, I didn’t mean to upset you that is the very last thing I would want to do and I’m sorry she was in my room it will never happen again” Tristan looked solemn maybe he was telling the truth “why didn’t you tell her about me then? she’s angry with me!" I shouted again still not calming down he shook his head "I don’t know why I didn’t tell her I just didn’t want to argue with her and for her to try and touch me and get all over me that’s what happened the last time that I told her I didn’t want to do anything anyway, I just couldn’t be bothered with her drama” he said looking sheepish "so you were just going to let her see me and her be horrible to me” I told him “no no that wasn’t my plan I’m sorry I didn’t think, I’m so sorry Hazel I’ve messed up" he rubbed my arms “Tristan I know you probably had a life before me but to find a girl half naked in your bed was too much I’m sorry you should of told her about me” I told him determined to not let him worm out so easily, I crossed my arms and turned away from him “Hazel please, I’m so sorry ill go and tell her right now" Tristan was pleading with me now "yes you will go and tell her now or you can just carry on sleeping with her I don’t care Tristan I’m tired and i want to go home now” I said with my arms still crossed “ok Hazel I can’t make you stay, I’m really sorry to have hurt you, can I see you tomorrow” he asked me “I don't know I'll let you know” I told him Tristan looked ashamed but I was holding my ground I wasn’t going to be messed about Alpha or not, I left the room and went to my brother, Tristan stalked out the room behind me his face was thunderous as he walked straight past me and Joe upstairs, my heart ached as I watched him go to her.
