CHAPTER 1
"This is really unbelievable, Kelly. How can you tell me that Sandra is getting married without informing anyone? Moreover, she had been here just two days ago." It came very shocking to me as one of my very closest friends was getting married but chose not inform us. "Well, you know how secretive she can always be and I'm not surprised about it. So, how're you doing with the projects? Have you succeeded in submitting your CV successfully yet?" Kelly was my childhood best friend and, of course, a sister to me too. We're apparently doing every damn thing together.
We had opted to go for strolling together in the chilly weather. It was very comfortable because we enjoyed every bit of it. Kelly was much of an extrovert than I am but we got crazy with each other because we found genuine sisterhood.
"Look there, Natasha! It's a rainbow.."
Seeing a rainbow again was very exciting because it had taken a really long time since I saw the last one.
"Sure, I've seen it. Let's stroll down the avenue a little to get some smoothies and some chocolate cookies too because I'm getting famished." I loved any edible that had chocolate flavor. Kelly loved chocolates too, but she would easily go for vanilla instead. We both picked the chocolate bars while I specifically carried my smoothie in hand while sipping it gradually.
"So Natasha, tell me what your plans for this season are." I wasn't expecting such a question because it apparently caught me off guard. I didn't really have a plan for the season or particular time. Rather, I was just hoping for a miracle to happen so that I could continue school and get better as a young lady with a future and potential. "You have known me very much from childhood and you know that I've been facing a whole lotta challenges since then. My little plan is to become a certified medical doctor someday in the nearest future and save the lives of less privileged people around nearby society." I had always dreamt of becoming a successful and influential doctor but what seems to always stop this dream is the family I come from and obviously the kind of background story I have. I don't know much about my dad but I know that he left mum and refused her when she got pregnant for him. I grew up with mum who is a seamstress at a local facility near our home. She made ends meet through tailoring and was able to train me through high school. Kelly is from a Christian family. Her dad is the Reverend in charge of our local parish, so she is hers. Her condition isn't as bad as mine although it doesn't add up.
We were done with strolling already as we decided to head home and rest. She home is the second in the street while mine is the fifth so, we lived very close to each other. I got home after we bid each other farewell and I decided to rest.

WALTER'S ESTATE.
JAMMIE'S CLOSE.
James, the youngest billionaire in the whole of America, a charming looking guy who has attitude problems. He was visibly soliloquizing to himself about the last meeting he had with the company's shareholders.
"Such ridiculous old miserable men! You'll think I'm stupid right? How dare you even feel I'm gonna let almost all of you get access to that company, as far as I'm the heir apparent and new owner of that winery, no one has the possible moral rights to tryna control me. I even think it's better I dissolve those men." He mischievously grinned at his thoughts. He felt that they shareholders that had been working with his dad then doesn't fit into his present requirements. James popularly known as Jammie was a hard nut to crack. He immediately put a call to his secretary immediately.
Hello good evening sir, I hope your.."The secretary was cut short by James who didn't let her finish what she wanted to say. "Are you going crazy or something? When did we start exchanging compliments.. huh?
The secretary knew it was better for her to apologize because James could fire her immediately. "Sorry sir." She was already frightened and scared but tried every possible way to conceal it. Getting into a little problem with the boss James was like signing one's death certificate by one's self.
"Now, get me the comprehensive list of the entire shareholders in my winery, I wanna dissolve them all." He issued that task to the secretary who in turn would do exactly what he wanted in record time. It was unheard of for a staff to tryna disobey or go contrary to his commands.

I had gone out to the nearest grocery store near my home to get some toiletries when I ran into Kelly who was just coming back from a church activity.
"Hey girlfriend." I greeted her and went to hug her.
Natasha, I must say that you look extremely ravishing in this floral gown of yours. I can see you went to get some stuff over at the store."
"Yes, I did. I came to the house to look for you earlier. Dad said you weren't around so I decided to go get something before you came back." I explained to her. Kelly was a very understanding and compassionate personality that had a very selfless disposition not minding putting herself at the risk of someone else. I've watched her help and save a whole lotta people from danger in the past and she equally stood up for me whenever anyone tried to bully me.
"I understand sweetheart, I went to the bank to do some transfers before heading to the church award day. Meanwhile, I equally picked a scholarship fork for both of us. The scholarship would cover our tuition and school fees, all we have to do is to pass the entrance examination, my love, and I trust we'll excel."
