There was a continuous procession of police, news reporters and camera men in and out of Victor’s refuge. Yellow crime scene tape covered the front entrance and surrounded much of the patio area. It was a similar scene on the adjacent roof top and the police had difficulty keeping curious residents out of the crucial areas that were being investigated. One of the detectives leading the investigation used the term “serial killer” as he looked across to the other building.
The media frenzy was overwhelming but there was scant, hard evidence to report so wild speculation reigned supreme.
