Chapter 8
When Mark was ready to tell the story of his harrowing escape, it flowed like Niagara Falls. He began with his arrest that turned into a long ordeal! During one of his early meetings with a sales prospect, two guys in trench coats interrupted the meeting and demanded that he go with them to their headquarters. Once there, they relentlessly interrogated him and deprived him of any form of food or drink. This lasted most of the first day before he was brought to a state run hotel and placed under house arrest. The room was stark without any form of stimulation and seemed like a prison cell. He was taken down to the dining room for his meals, followed by a quick exit back to his room.
