Chapter 13 Our plane circled back over Paris as we headed to Boston. The Eiffel Tower loomed over the city and the Seine shimmered in the sun. Surprisingly, it was bitter-sweet to be leaving Europe, even though I had many wonderful memories. Within a matter of minutes, Paris disappeared as the Atlantic came into view. Mark had already polished off his second free first class martini and was speed reading Business Week. His black hair showed a twinge of gray, matching his new Chanel reading glasses.
