A Werewolfs tale: visitation

Hulrons pov: 

The sweetest moment I have ever witnessed was my mate and my pup embracing. I saw their tears. As I watched theirs I felt my own. I could have stood there for the rest of my days and been forever content. My sweet Kimi always had a gentleness about her that truly amazed me. Even after all that this life had robbed us of. Her soul had always held strength and courage. I watched her hands stroking Logans back while rocking him. She should have been able to rock him as a pup. 

"Pardon me love, I have not told him your time is limited." My words broke as I had to remind her and Logan needed to know.

"What the hell do you mean limited?" Logan growled. He seemed to hold Kimi a little tighter if that were possible.

"Logan," Kimi began. "I can not explain to you every thing as I do not understand it all myself. Neither can your father. After I lost you both I found myself here. I couldn't tell you how long I was here before I realized were here was. The Tower of the Lost Souls houses many souls like myself. I have a purpose still to fill. The Moon Goddess has not shared to us what that purpose is. It's not the same as being amongst the living. In this chamber I am as alive as I will ever be. Only in this chamber Logan. The physical body is only temporary. I am just as all the other beings are here, I am a ghost. All that remains of the Kimi the world knew is my soul and looking at you and your father, my heart."

Grabbing Logans hand Kimi walked him to the table and we all sat. 

"My time is limited as the Moon Goddess gifts me a short amount of time each time I visit so that I can be here with your father. For the brief time we are here we get to pretend that life is normal. We get to talk, to dream, to hold each other. And sadly then we have to part until the next time your Father comes to this room to visit. He is able to separate my soul from that of all of the others that are here because the witches that protect the towers cast a spell over this chamber that allows me to be human and werewolf while I am here. My werewolf has stayed true to me all these years. She has kept me strong. Now that you are here I have to wander what this all means." Kimi sighed and I could tell she was puzzled.

"Kimi love?" I grabbed here face and brought it to mine. I gently brushed my lips against hers.

"Yes love?" she replied.

"Think later! Enjoy our Logan now." I spun her back around to face our pup who was sitting quietly looking at us. 

"Logan, so tell me are you mated? Do you have Pups of your own? What has brought you to our towers?" I suppose that is a good place to start, she asked amused. "Please let me hear you talk of you!"

"Mother, I, umm, do not have a mate. I am a responsible male so I do not have any bastard children. In my line of work I am not sure that is likely to change. I did not even know that I was a werewolf until it was time for me to meet my wolf. The Moon Goddess came to me and helped me to understand what we are and to be there during my first shift so that I was not alone. My wolfs name is Tegan. He is just as in awe at meeting you as I am. I feel him communicating with your wolf."  came Logan's response. 

"Hulron, Father, what can we do to fix this? What do we know that could be of use to us? I still have my mission to complete. When my mission is complete I want to come back here to hear every detail of the attacks on you both. I assume you both have some idea of why the attacks happened even if you do not know the who and hows to the events."  Logan continued.

"Yes, son. We have alot of answers. We have just as many questions. There are alot of pieces that we don't know. First things first. Lets help you get your task completed and then we will satisfy ourselves by seeing what pieces we can find to complete our own puzzle." Kimi responded. "You have been sent by the Goddess herself so it must be important."

"I am looking for a wolf named Indy. Or rather what happened to her. The Moon Goddess said that Indy disappeared and no one has been able to find any trace of her. It is whispered amongst the Gods that her pup will fulfill the prophecy of the Celestial Moons. She is suppose to be a hybrid pup. Little has been said  about her mate. She was from the Coldmoon pack at one time. I believe I was sent here because of your history with the Coldmoon Pack. The Celestial Moons prophecy talks of the birth of a hybrid pup born of two realms, one of the witches' and one of the werewolf's. This hybrid is born every one thousand years. She or he, in this case we believe it is a young woman we are looking for will be the key to stopping the turn over of the powers in charge. At this time the witches' and the werewolf's have a peaceful treaty between the two due to the greater good of all the super natural beings. The elders of each have been working diligently to keep the vampires and the demons from trying to attack and take over the tribes and clans. That does not stop them for thirsting for power. It is drawing closer to time for the crowning of the new high priestess amongst the witches'.  It will happen during the course of the Celestial Moons event. It is believed that the moons capture the power of the reigning priestess and transfer it during this event to the new high priestess that the Gods have chosen to take her place. The hybrid pup plays a roll in the transfer of this power. If it were found out who this hybrid is and the wrong super naturals gained control  of her it would mean bad omens for us all." 

"I knew an Indy during the time we were at Coldmoon son. She and I were both strays brought into the pack for different reasons. My original pack had been attacked by rouges. It was a brutal attack that caused the death of your grand father. The Alpha ties you and your wolf feel come form my father, your grandfather. Our pack was the Greystone pack. You are the rightful heir to the Alpha title Logan. The pack name is ours. If ever a time comes that you choose a different path than what you are working now those family roots will be waiting. I have not saw her during my time here in the towers. I would have recognized her I have no doubt. I will search for answers with in the tower walls while you two will search outside the walls. I can tell you that she was mated with Levand. Levand was a warlock that held a great amount of power. If he helped hide his mate Indy. And the hybrid we are hunting is their offspring we may never find them unless they want to be found. First thing is to find out if they are amongst the living realm or that of the dead." Kimi stood up while she was talking. Turned and began to embrace me. Kissing my deeply as she finished I knew she was feeling her time with us coming to an end.

"Kimi love, I hope today has brought you great happiness. The site of you two together was a great gift indeed. I have not left you and our towers for any length of time. I do not know how it will effect our connection. These old feet of mine will be stepping fast to get back here to you love."  I embraced her once more. Stepped back to allow her a moment with our pup.

"Mother, I will be back. We will finish this conversation. I want answers when the time is right for us all! Your voice is just the same sweet sound as I have carried with me all of these years. I have always been proud of my name. I could feel the pride as you gave me that name. Somehow I have always known it was your voice that I carried with me each time I revisited that memory." 

"Logan, all is not as it appears when it comes to the world around us. Be safe my son. I love you!" 

I had to watch my Kimi fade away. I hated it each time. Now it was time to get to work. The faster this work was behind us the faster we returned. I didn't like leaving my mate all alone. I opened the door to leave the chamber.

"Ok son. Where do we begin?"

"We begin here father. After we have learned all we can from the beings here in the towers then we decide where to go next. You can still communicate with Mother even if I can not. She can help us hunt for answers amongst the others that reside her with in the tower walls. Can she find out if Indy is here? If she is here we need to find out how she got here. If she is not then we need find out if she is amongst the living. I need to contact the Moon Goddess to see if she can tell me how much she wants to know. I need to know why I am hunting her. Or as much as she is willing to reveal. I need to know if she only sent me here knowing that I would find you and mother. I know Mother said she knew her. With our reunion I didn't think to ask anything more."
