A few days before the wedding, Elizabeth caught the bus into Dulster town centre with the intention of purchasing a new outfit for the occasion. She was overjoyed that all of her children would be attending the ceremony; maybe not so pleased that Adam was coming, but she could hardly tell Annabel that he wasn’t welcome as that might isolate her only daughter and she didn’t want any more family fall-outs.
