Father Mike had telephoned and it was just as well, as the officers guarding Lisa and Nakka had apprehended a junior doctor who turned out to have syringes, the contents of which would have assisted the patients into an eternal sleep. The hospital and everyone was now on Red Alert. A trusted officer took the Doc to get accommodated with Fatso and Maisie; they were going out on the trawler for a few days and that was considered enough time to work out something permanent.
