22 The Forensic Lab and Pathology Department for the Met was always busy and had little time for deaths outside of their manor, but Lucy Bright liked Debs and liked her new name of Lilac; it suited her. The two had had a fling back in the mists, and it died a natural death, as Lucy had described it once with her autopsy black humour, but they had maintained a steadfast friendship ever since.
