PAID CRIMES

"No w-wait,ahhhh!"  A fearful scream can be heard along the hallway. It was a dark stormy night. Lightning and thunder roared in the sky as the cried of the people echoed one by one until long silent came. Guards, servants and royal members spread their blood on every corner of the silent palace. A 10 years old girl wearing a peasant clothes was being push to a hidden door with her mom. Her mother was afraid for her to be seen by the invaders. She wanted her child to live and grow strong. " Esta luz debe protegerte hasta que asciendas al trono( This light will protect you until you will ascend to the throne)"A light on her hand rays on the girl's body. After the queen enchanted the spell on her child. She felt the pain of wanting her to be in her side while she grows old but she can't. She must protect her even with her life. " Baby, promise me. You should run away from here and never turn back. Used this situation as your strength. Grow strong with dignity. Our kingdom will be in your hands" Her beautiful eyes started to shred tears as stared me with sadness and worries. She wraps my neck with her aqua blue crystal necklace. She kissed my forehead and hug me tight. "BANG!" a loud noise was heard as someone trying to open this room. " M-Mom don't leave me." I uttered pulling the sleeves of her dress. I am afraid.  The little girl was crying for desperation to be with her mom but it didn't listen to her request. " Go now! " she sternly said but she didn't barge on her position. " BANG!" The door started to open as she saw mom's worried eyes turned to frightening. " Go  now! I order you as the queen run away!" she command with cold stares as she start to closed the hidden door. She froze as loud painful shout of her mom heard between the wall. " M-Mom " "Mom!" she keep punching the wall hoping it to open but it was lock. " Runaway, runaway and get stronger" her mom's words echoed on her like a command of dying queen. Tears fall from her eyes as she run away through the dark long passage. She turned on every corner until she was able to go out. The dark night hid the widespread fire eating the place into ashes. Rain poured hard like it was trying to cleanse her pained heart, her tears and whole identity was nothing at the very moment like her voice slowly to dissipated. She was about to run when she saw a person wearing with black hooded cloak standing few meters away from her. Her heart starts to feel fear. Her mind wanted to run but her body froze on the spot. "Where do you think you're going?" his cold voice roared around that made her shiver. " W-Who are you? Where's my mom?" " She's dead. I killed her. Don't worry you'll be next" the man answered looking at her like a little lamp ready to be devour. Her mom was dead. The thought of her mom being killed, her anger over throw inside her as she attacked him. " Ohh, brave little girl." he uttered as he just dodge her punches and kicks. " I will kill you!!" the little girl shouted and tried to hit him more. The rain never stop her to throw more punches until she got tired. Due to heavy rain her attacks were ineffective making the killer easily escape from her attacks. She can't see him clearly as her eyes blurred with the pouring rain. " You're too weak!" he said as he kneed her stomach. She groaned in pain as she lied down on the muddy ground. She coughed hard trying to regain her energy but it was not enough to make her stand. He kicked her ribs making a cracking sound as she thrown few steps away. " Ahhhh!" It was a painful cried of a child that trying to  fight against her mother's killer. The pain was worst as she feels her ribs produce a creak sound as blood spits from her mouth. She felt weak and helpless. " If you want to kill me then be strong. Fight me! I'm here, baby."  He pulled a Swiss knife and walked towards the lying little girl. She remember her mother's words. " I will kill you!" she said as she groaned in pain. The rain helped in hiding her tears well. Her heart pounds in fear as his steps going near. She tried crawled away from the man  but the man walk fast and pulled her legs back to him. " Where do you think you’re going? The fun was not yet started" he said while licking her lips before the girl.  The little girl started to feel scared around her body. She can move as the man kneeled near to her face. The lightning struck on the cloud making the man's face shown. He has a straight long braided blond hair. His face was full covered with red Orounn mask. " Why are you doing these? Why did you need to kill my family? " " I was paid to kill you all that's why I will kill  you now and enjoy my life with money and women. He paid me well so I can't disobey him" he replied as he run his fingers on his silver shining knife. You can tell it was sharp. The child was so afraid for her life. She was afraid of dying but she want to know who was it? " W-Who paid you? I-I can double it." the child tried to negotiate but the man was born with thirst on blood. He has the belief to kill all or he'll be killed in return. " Ahhhh!" a s***h on her arms was seen in a blink of an eye. She didn't notice his hand as she felt pain in a flash. " I know you can pay me but I was thirst with your blood so payments won't work anymore." He said as he lick the blood on his knife. "Your blood is sweet. I want more of it"  he uttered making the child terror down. Blazing eyes and sharp teeth scissor in excitement was hidden on his mask. " Please, let me go" the child with horror face tried to covered her slashed left arm. " Sorry I can't do that. Now scream for me" he replied while shaking his head. "Ahhh!"The cried was louder than the first one. The knife slashed on her right hand that was holding her arm. It was small cut but it was painful to bear. She was so weak to fight the man. Her body was in pain and blood start to cover her wet clothes. Rain rinsed her blood to the ground flowing like a little red river. " Drake stop playing  let's go. Just finished that kid." another black hooded person appeared behind. " But I'm still enjoying this moment" Drake said to the man as he frowned defeated. " You know we have other plans tonight. Wasting our time for a kid is useless" " Ok fine, sorry little kid. I'll finished you early" he smiled evilly as he was about to strike the kid's heart with his knife. " No!!!!" the kid shouted in horror. " Hey! it was just a nightmare" a young man with tied silver hair and red eyes tried to ease her from being frantic. He just came in from an errand outside. The girl curls and hugs her knees blankly. It's been  10 years after that incident but for the girl it was so fresh as the knife struck in her heart living her hopelessly gasping for breath. She saw the 2 men walked away in the dark leaving her weakly in pain. " It's been 10 years of your hard work and trainings. It is time to avenge your families' m******e. Of course, I'll come along. My handsome face should be display look fot those ladies." This young man was the son of the person who saved her that night. If his father wasn't able to pass in that area she might be dead. She was verge on her last breath on that night when she saw a man in hooded cloak lift her up into the carriage. The man cut his wrist and poured his blood on her mouth making her wounds started to close. She lived together with the old man and his son in a small house in the forest. A house with asphalt shigled roof and bricked walls. It has two rooms and a small dining area connected with living room. The old man's works need to travel around making them left alone taking hard trainings. " I know" she replied with her cold golden eyes.  She has golden yellow short hair fixed with her golden eyes and prominent facial features looking her exquisitely handsome girl. The scars on her chest and arms were still there making her remember everything on that night. " Then we should joined the hunt then" silvered hair young man said with smirk. " Yeah, are we already listed?" she asked. She was referring of the pass were they can kill freely if that person found guilty. " Of course, it's the most important code for us to joined the hunt." he grinned and stand to fix their things. They packed their things like they were preparing for a war. They keep their passes for border checkpoint or teleport station's checkpoints. " Then let's head to the south." the silver haired shout in excitement as he raised his arms on the air. The girl just shrugs his enthusiasm and walk ahead. " This is going to fun !" he shouted again. He's voice echoed on the forest making the birds flew in panic. " Stupid" " I don't think so" She replied making him snorted. " Kill joy!"
