Sitting was the last thing Aldo wanted to do. He was itching to go find Elayne. When he and Captain Moss had arrived at the Board of Education where they were holding her interview, the room had been empty. Aldo hadn"t waited for Moss to call his wife to see where they might"ve taken Elayne for a celebratory meal or drink. He"d started his hunt.
She wasn"t at her house. She wasn"t at the school. Kailyn, who sat in the cradle of Mateo"s arms, didn"t know where she was either. She wasn"t picking up any calls or answering texts. Aldo was starting to worry.
