STRONG LOVE AND THE DARK SIDE OF LOVE
"My daughter, I love you, and I want you to know that I'll always be at your side. My mother's last words to me were, "Obey, trust your father, and be a good child." I hurried to my father after spotting him sobbing and in great anguish. I grabbed his hand tightly and tried to find comfort in our shared sorrow. The first person who helped me accept that death is a reality was my mother. But when I heard my dad yell with an ear-piercing volume, reality struck me hard. "Babe, babe, wake up, please! Please stay with us; I love you. With the weight of his broken heart, his scream echoed across the empty space. I started crying as I accepted the fact that my mum had passed away permanently. I had terrible chest pain and a sense of emptiness filling my entire soul. I couldn't believe I would never again experience her warm embrace, hear her laugh, her shout and scold me or see her smile. Our heartbroken grieving were the only sounds coming from the room during the terrible quiet. My mind was filled with images of my mother, each one an important reminder of how warm and loving she was. I desperately tried to hold onto her presence by clinging to those memories, but the brutal reality of her absence loomed over us. I became aware of how huge of the responsibility my father and I would bear at that time. We were forced to explore this planet on our own without her. My dad and I had always struggled with life. He had assumed the role of both my mother and my father ever since my mother passed away. He battled the forces of hardship with a heavy heart and a strong spirit in order to provide our fundamental requirements. I observed my father toiling at and taking on several jobs in order to provide for me with a roof over my head and put food on the table. He gave up his personal convenience and wellbeing and consistently put my needs above his own. Even yet, there were moments when we were barely making ends meet and were living paycheck to paycheck. As I got older, the difficulties went beyond just surviving. I was teased at school for my ragged clothing and carelessness. My looks would be judged by peers, who would laugh and murmur. Let me tell you the truth: I actually weep every single day and I hide it from my dad because the older I become, the less available an individual is for me to talk to or spend time with. Eight years after that, on the day I graduated from college, I observed my father laughing heartily as he prepared for my convocation by inviting his friends to provide food and other preparations. I was standing next to my father as we experienced a range of emotions in the busy school courtyard. Our faces were bathed in a warm light as the sun shined brightly overhead. My dad stared at me with such pride and affection as tears of delight poured down my cheeks. Marbel, my child, I couldn't be more proud of you. Your persistence and hard work have paid off. I am certain that your mother is beaming with pride as she watches us. My dad gave me a bear hug, and I felt his firm embrace encompassing me with a sensation of warmth and contentment. Me saying, I'm grateful, Daddy. Without your support and affection, I would not have been able to. This moment is ours, not just mine. We have gone through alot. Dad's eyes were beaming with a happy reminiscence. His voice was emotional as he held my face in his hands. Dad: Marbel, you are my greatest achievement. It brings me great delight to see you standing here today as a graduate. You persisted through difficulties, and now you're prepared to face the world. A group of individuals walking toward us while bearing presents and treats caught my attention as I brushed away my tears. With smiles on their faces, Dad's pals had joined in the celebration. Dad, see! Marbel Also present are our buddies! They came to share in our celebration. Dad: Yes, Marbel, they're like family to us. They supported us and saw us through the challenging moments. Let's enjoy this momentous occasion with them. As we spent the day together, enjoying the excitement and success of the event, laughter filled the air. Beyond the material and tassel, my convocation gown and cap carried meaning. They represented my labor of love, commitment, and realized aspirations. Marbel: Guess what, dad? Now a graduate, your daughter! I am happy to share that my results from my studies in hospitality and management were fantastic. Dad's eyes grew more gleeful, and a broad smile appeared on his face. That is my girl, dad! I've always known you were capable of becoming extraordinary. You have arrived here today as a result of your devotion and resolve. I'm really proud. I gave my father my graduation gown and hat and told him to put them on. We wanted to preserve this occasion in images as well as in our hearts. As we stood for photographs with our large group of friends, the atmosphere was filled with sounds of laughing and friendship. In that instant, surrounded by love and happiness, I understood that this day would live on in our minds for all time. As the day came to an end, we returned to our own homes. I returned home, had a shower, and then went to bed to relieve today's events. When I heard a gentle tapping sound on my window, I was deep in meditation. I was startled, and with my pulse beating, I stepped forward slowly and drew aside the curtain. To my surprise, Christabel, my childhood friend and confidante, was standing outside my window with a sly smile on her lips. Christabel, are you there? How did you escape your dorm without being caught? With her eyes sparkling with delight and wickedness, Christabel laughed. Christabel: You didn't really believe that I would miss Marbel's big day, did you, my love? I couldn't help but join you in your celebration. She was so bold and tenacious that I was astounded and soon went to get a ladder so she could enter my room. We hugged each other affectionately, aware that this was a symbol of our unshakable tie. Marbel: I'm surprised you're here. You cunning young magician. How did you make your way to me, exactly? Christabel: I could have taken some tricks from Harry Potter, then. I kid you not! Not a lot happened, really. I just used the proximity of your accommodation to my school hostel to get past the mirror and over the wall. Voila! I'm here! We started laughing out loud, enjoying the sheer chutzpah of our late-night antics. Christabel handed me a nicely wrapped present after reaching inside her purse. Christabel: Congratulations to you, my dear buddy. I wanted to give you a modest symbol of my affection and pride. I passionately opened the package to see a lovely watch with a face that sparkled in the moonlight. My eyes started to flood up with tears as I realized how much she loved and supported me. Oh, Christabel, it's lovely, Marbel! I greatly appreciate it. To me, this means everything. Two souls joined together in a moment of utter happiness and camaraderie as we climbed into my bed. We laughed and told stories late into the night while gently singing in perfect harmony. Because it was late and we needed to hide our secret meeting from my dad, we kept our voices quiet. Marbel: Are you kidding me? Can you believe that, Christabel? asked Marbel. Look at where we are right now, sharing this great day together. The ideal buddy, a sister from another mother, was someone I could not have asked for. I adore you a lot. Christabel: Marbel, I also adore you. We've had so many highs and lows together, and I cherish every one of them. We have an unbreakable tie, and it is an honor for me to go with you. We were aware that our time together was winding down as the hours passed and the outside world started to move. Christabel walked back down the ladder reluctantly, vanishing into the darkness, leaving a deep impression on my heart. Marbel: For now, good-bye, my dear friend. Until our next meeting, she vanished and leave me with lovely memories Christabel slipped away like a ghost, disappearing into the night while I stared, my pulse racing. I started to feel uneasy, as if the cosmos had mysteries that I wasn't yet ready to discover. The warmth of Christabel's presence stayed in the room, but I could also feel the weight of the unknowable crushing against my chest. I turned away from the window as a wave of eagerness swept through me. What was concealed in the way ahead? What enigmas remained, waiting to upend the precarious balance I had worked so hard to achieve? I took a deep breath and silently made a commitment to myself. Unwavering in my resolve to shape my own future, I would face any challenges that lay in wait. With christabel by my side, I was ready for better or for worse...
