Miss Alexis, I am afraid you will not be able to do that! " The butler quickly turned down the request of the young miss.

"Butler …sorry, uncle…?" Alexis said with a lot of emphasis as though she tries to remember the man's name! "The name is Sam, miss" the butler said quickly to tell her the name after seeing her struggle.

"Uncle Sam, I just want to see the world out there. Is this place some kind of prison for me? I guess not, so why can't I go ahead and see the beauty of this land?" Alexis asked, pouting like a child.

The butler was amazed about how free and lovely the young miss was. She was dressed so simple and not so glamorous like the other young miss, miss Chloe.

"I don't have the total orders!" He responded and Alexis pouted even more and gave the butler puppy eyes and he was stuck on what should be done.

He couldn't just allow the young lady to leave, what if she isn't allowed or worse happens and she goes missing or gets kidnapped. Well, nothing of such have been reported in the city but he just could let her go.

Nevertheless, the miss was making him look bad and she was giving him a puppy look. It's quite hard to overcome that kind of look she was giving him at the moment.

"Miss Alexis, this is not in my hand, it's in the hand of the young master. Why don't we make it like this? You will stroll around the castle and I am sure there are a lot of places you have not explored and you will surely love to.

Let me tell you this, this castle is wider both on the inside and outside. You might even get lost if care isn't taken. And trust me, you will love every single thing you see here because they are mostly hand picked by the two former Luna of the land.

I mean the grandmother of the young master and the mother of the young master and maybe in the future you might change something here too.

And while you do that, I will seek the consent of the young master and once he agrees, you can go out of the castle as long as you follow the rules of the land.

Our land can be both dangerous and peaceful. Things happen unexpectedly and your safety is on my neck, Alexis!" The butler said and she became calm.

"I will agree with you this time, uncle Sam. Which way do I go first?" Alexis asked and the butler was forced to let out a smile.

"Let me get your maid!" The butler said and Alexis was shocked. "My maid, you mean someone just for me?" She asked and the butler smiled thinking she would be so happy about the norms.

" No, uncle Sam, they are humans like us. You can't call them like a possession. They have blood running in their veins too. I really don't need a maid.

I will be fine but I need someone who can show me around. I am not a princess like Barbie. I am a lady who was favored to be here. So I need someone who can show me around." She protested and the butler was shocked.

He sure has never met anyone daughter of an alpha that acts like Alexis, she was way too humble, treating everyone equal. "Okay, your wish is my command." The butler said and looked toward the kitchen and called a name twice.

"Catherine, Catherine!" He called out and there was a loud sound of legs rushing toward their side. Within a second, the lady showed up and it turned out to be the lady that was at her doorstep in the morning that was waiting on her.

"Uncle Sam, how do you do the chore here, just yesterday, I arrived and I already had a room and I checked it was well packed up and at the second door, I saw my personal gym and a nice mini spa space.

What is this place, heaven? Or tell me you have always prepared it for every lady, your young master every time he brings a lady home or they signed a contract for him to marry a lady and he ends up rejecting them." Alexis asked and uncle Sam chuckled.

"Alexis, you are so imaginative but this is so wrong. It's quite unfortunate that the young master does not see the good in you and rejects you but he is a sweet person.

He is a handicap, he has issues trusting people but Chloe, he has always had Chloe around the castle, frustrating him and you also know the saying, the devil you know is better than the angel you just met and I think that was what he did.

He was ready to be with Chloe instead of knowing who you are deep inside but let me tell you this. He never had a female in his life. Everyone avoided him as if he was a plague.

He has a pretty face but they don't fancy him still. This is the first time a contract was implemented and he was ready to get down with it and maybe he chicken out at the last minute.

Take your time and I promise everything will be fine. And about everything you see there, he single handedly picked them for his fiancee but over the last couple of years, he gave up and he didn't hesitate to pull you there.

You should know that room means a lot to him. So.. " uncle Sam and before they could say anything else a young guy opened the door and hurried toward the other direction with his face cap on his head.

"Your father is in a meeting at the conference hall!" Uncle Sam yelled and the guy stopped and ran toward them and bowed and quickly climbed the stairs and ran away.

Alexis took a while before she recovered from the shock of what happened! It was a shock and she was not expecting to meet someone who came home smelling like he was dripping in a brewery machine of alcohol.

He surely must have been experiencing some hangover and he is surely about to faint. Alexis returned her gaze to uncle Sam and was more than eager to have him spill the tea.

"Why are you looking at me like a puppy that found bone hanging on my neck?" Uncle Sam asked, teasing her even though he knew why she was looking at him.

"Who is that?" She asked and uncle Sam chuckled and looked at Catherine.

"Catherine, the young miss will love to see the outside world within the castle gate. Show her around and attend to all her demands!" He said and Catherine bowed a little.

"Miss Alexis, I guess we will see later. I have some orders to attend to, take good care of yourself and be good!" He said and ignored Alexis pout and walked away.

"He ignored me!" Alexis said and Catherine could only chuckled within. "Miss Alexis, this way please!" Catherine said and Alexis looked at her and her expression changed and followed her out.

They got out and started walking toward the field. Alexis was tired of the silence and faced Catherine and started a conversation.

"Catherine, that is your name right?" Alexis said and Catherine nodded. "Yes miss Alexis!" Catherine said and Alexis chuckled.

"Don't do that, my name is alexis. We must be the same age if I am not wrong. I have even seen my wolf yet! I was supposed to see it days back, it was my birthday but I was too sad Andi didn't even dare to summon it.

My family didn't even remember my birthday. My mum dares not do that, she always made cookies with the number of my new age on the cookies but she is gone now." Alexis said and Catherine looked sad as well.

"I am sorry, I wish I had a mother who loved me before she died. My mum isn't even dead but I never saw her as my mother. She made me come over here!

She owes the alpha a lot of debt and she paid with me. I became the maid here and I will serve forever because I learnt she kept taking loans to buy liquor and gamble.

Most people said she was hurt that my dad died early and she is left to take care of me alone and she is just emotionally dying and trying to stay sane with the liquor.

But I know it is not true, she never even loved that man. She was a pathetic drunkard from the start. She almost killed me with liquor. I wonder how she was when she was pregnant with me.

But my dad, he was the best. He took care of me while she was nonchalant about me and him till he died of asthma because she spent the last cash to buy liquor when he sent her his inhaler.

It was sad but who can I tell, I could not even complain. He married her and they both punished me till date!" Catherine also shared her experience and immediately the two clicked.

"Do you know, I should not be here!" Alexis said and Catherine looked at her. "Yes, we all heard he rejected you, and you are meant to go back home but you refused." Catherine said slowly.

She didn't want to step on Alexis' bottom line mistakenly. "I wish it was just that easy. I would have run back to my house and cry in front of my mum's grave." Alexis said and Catherine was shocked.

Catherine looked at her waiting for the full story of what was going on!

" The contract was meant for him and my step sister, she is quite older but when father mentioned it at the table. She disagreed, she didn't want to get married to the young master, Alexander and I felt sorry for her too but what can I do,

Out land never the union as fast as possible and guess what they did. She accepted in my presence and we prepared a celebration and she was meant to be picked by her husband but that day, they cared about me.

They beautified me and I was stupidly thinking they would change but instead my sister was handed over as the bride. I was handed over. I was brought here and to crown it, the young master, Alexander, rejected me.

I was happy at first in the midst of my shock but remembering it better to die here than to go home and go and meet my father that I didn't get the contract fulfilled. My land will suffer.

My father was going to kill me with hatred and I might be offered to the worst man on this planet. Or maybe I will be the receiver of every bad thing from my step mother and her daughter.

They will make my life a living hell but here, it's a good hideout for me. So I am here, till I can't stay anymore." Alexis said and Catherine felt for her. " You will be just fine here!" Catherine said and they arrived at the pool!

"You see this, it's for every royal in that house, so you are also entitled to it. It's so beautiful in its own way and it's wide. The way of the rich. The water is quite costly, I heard it is real red sea water. I don't know why they chose to get the water of all the oceans I can count.

It's so sad how they do it. They wasted millions on trash and I wonder why. Will the water produce their money back? No! So why do such a thing when it is not beneficial to them.

It would have been better if they donated the money to the orphanage foundation and the poor kids out there but they won't do that but what can I do or say?

Nothing, so we will just admire the rubbish they keep spending their money on and that is all about the red sea watered pool of the royal villa." Catherine said and they laughed and continued their journey.

"I remember, the guy that ran in the other time, who is that?" Alexis asked and Catherine looked up and looked around suspiciously like she was trying to see if there was anyone around hearing or watching them.

"What is it? What is with the extra?" Alexis said like a joke and Catherine chuckled and faced Alexis, "Alexis, uncle Sam could not talk in there the other time because we don't know who might be lurking around to snoop on us.

The last thing you want to be caught with is talking about the second young master!" Catherine said and Alexis was shocked.

"Alexander has a younger brother?" Alexis asked and Catherine was shocked but she could only wave it off with a chuckle.

"No, young master, Alexander, is the only son of his parents. The person on the throne now is his uncle instead of him and that one you saw is the son of his uncle, Alpha Dean.

The guy is the worst drunkard I know, maybe after my mum. He is rude and saucy! He is so annoying but none of us can complain. He is so annoying.

He is coming back from a three day disappearance and now, we will not know enough peace anymore. He is a threat to everyone in the castle.

He even bullied the first young master because he was in a wheelchair, sometimes he would push him. Sometimes he will pour a chill drink on his leg.

Something he attacks the wheel chair and he loves watching other people's misery. He is what I will call a buffalo.

Even his name is so annoying. Do you know his father is planning to make him his successor. Losers, they want to steal the throne from first young master Alexander forever.

We all hate them but we have nothing to say! He is the ruling power." Catherine said and Alexis suddenly felt bad for Alexander. He was surely depressed by everything.

Everything his father gave him is in the hands of a wrong person and he doesn't have hope of retrieving it anytime soon. Alexis now realized everyone has their sad story under their straight or smiling faces.

Alexis was so sorry for him but she immediately waved off the feeling. He is depressed and hopeless doesn't mean he should be rude. He also had an attitude, a very silly one and as silly as a turkey( animal), even when he was suffering doesn't give a good excuse for losing his humanity.

"Show me more!" Alexis said happily and the two happily skipped around.

Meanwhile at the conference hall, the investors stood up and the alpha smiled at them. "I am so pleased to have such a good deal with you. I hope this cooperation goes on forever!"

Alpha Dean said and Jude, the lead investor, stepped forward and smiled. "Of course, alpha dean, our cooperation is one of the best and we will make sure to comply with the contract at our side.

I hope you do the same at your end. Our deals are very delicate! And choosing your land is a very risky thing to do. Don't mess this up for us!" Jude said with a threatening tone even with the sweet smile dashing on his face.

Alpha Dean swallowed hard and smiled.

"Everything will be perfect, Mr jude." He said and Jude adjusted his suit. "We will leave now!" Jude said and looked down at Alexander who was seated in his wheelchair and had watched the scene from the beginning to the end.

He didn't say anything and it was almost like he wasn't there.

"Next time, allow active people to any of the meetings we organize with you and not .." Jude said but he swallowed the rest of his words with difficulty as Alexander looked up at him with a very straight cold face.

"We will leave now!" Jude said and walked out of the conference hall with the two men that came along with him as his secretary.

Alpha Dean went back to his seat and let out the breath he had been holding all along. He subconsciously looked at Alexander and their eyes matched and alpha Dean was shocked as the expression on Alexander's face can murder if one is not careful.

Alpha Dean quickly looked away but it was like he was hallucinating when he looked at him again and he was with his head down like nothing happened earlier.

"Alexander, what are you doing here?" Alpha Dean asked and Alexander raised his face and looked at him again. " Uncle dean. Why can't I be here?" Alexander asked and alpha Dean was confused on what to say.

"Well, you are not supposed to be here, you don't need to concern yourself with this tedious matter, that is why I am here, to take care of everything here!"

Alpha Dean said but Alexander chuckled and looked around.

"I don't see any tedious work here. I can not see why I can't just sit here and watch what is happening around here and I think I was the best person and I didn't intervene in anything you were doing right here!" Alexander said and the alpha stood up again.

"you just got engaged yesterday, you should be with your woman and not here with me and the tedious land work, don't mess around. you should be doing tours and having fun with your woman instead." Alpha Dean said and Alexander chuckled.

"What I do with my woman is less of my uncle's business, and I will do justice to everything in my life just like I want. And secondly, uncle dean, where is your son?" Alexander asked and alpha Dean's face changed.

He really didn't want to talk about his son at all and now that Alexander bought the matter up, he just could not change the topic and act like he didn't hear anything.

"Alexander, your cousin went on a trip to sign a project for me in los Angeles and I don't think he will be back for a while now!" Alpha Dean tried to cover up with a lie but it was so obvious to Alexander who knew the truth already.

"Ohh, Los Angeles, but his social media says differently. Did he also go to the club in st. Camel to sign a deal last night? Hmmm, the deal must have been successful because he had to party all night with girls and a lot of alcohol.

He is a social media person, I guess we already know the result of his contract signing." Alexander said and alpha Dean was shocked.

He was not a social media type and he was so ignorant of what might be happening online. He believed the stuff is for the younger generation and over time, he hated it because of how it keeps exposing his son.

"You sure do know, your cousin!" Alpha Dean said and Alexander laughed. "I sure do know him!" Alexander replied and the door of the hall opened.

"I am sorry to interrupt, my lord but I would like to inform you that the second young master is back home and he is in his room resting!" Uncle Sam said and alpha Dean's face changed immediately.
