We got off from the room and went to the restroom. I washed my hands and waited for Mia to come out from the toilet. I looked at the mirror. I was looking different. I seemed more paler and some kinda differences on my eyelashes. I looked closer. I startled up when Mia came out. “Hey” “Do I have any change in my face?” She came and washed her hands beside me. She looked closer and nodded yes. “You’re paler than yesterday” I nodded and looked back into the mirror. I tucked my lips. She patted my back to move on. “Come on Charley” “Let’s go” “Don’t think too much” I sighed and tagged along with Mia to the classroom. “You are gonna in the canteen” “Don’t you?” I questioned her. She nodded and pointed out her index finger in joy. While she waited for me outside, I went in the classroom and took my meal box from my bag and my water bottle too. I took my phone out and placed it in my pocket. I saw Olivia talking with her g**g. She noticed me and waved. I smiled and went back to Mia. “We’ll go!” We went down to the canteen. It was past the hallway. On the hallway, someone bumped into Mia. “Watch out booy!” A boy bumped into her and dropped his books on the floor. Mia didn’t bother to help him. I squatted down and collected his books and papers. “Here you go” I smiled and handed him his books. He smiled and thanked me. He then ran away towards the playground. Mia gasped. “WOWW!” “What a scene!!” “Well, that boy was handsome!” “You gotta try him?” I frowned and showed her a disgusted face. “Nah!” “I’m not into boys or girls, Mia” “I guess” I winked at her and looked back at the boy who was running. “Maybe!” “Sometime, we’ll catch him” She laughed and patted my back. “You’re no good Charley!” I chuckled and we got to the canteen. I looked at the crowd waiting in the que. I looked back at Mia and chuckled. “Well!” “I’ll wait on the table and you can go and pick you food Mia!” She nodded and left me. I looked for an empty table. I saw one near the cold drinks machine. I went near that and sat on one side. I placed my box infront of me and waited for Mia.   I started scrolling on the screen of my phone. I got a notification from my mom. It said- “Honey! don’t forget to drink your medicine and don’t dare to pour it down!!” “I know you!” “Catch up a uber to home!” “Don’t wanna see you roam for long outside!” I replied with “Okay mom!” and an emoji. “Hey!” I heard a familiar voice beside me. I looked at the person. “Hey Jake!” I saw Jake with his food on his hand. “C’mon Jake!” “Have a seat!!” I moved in so that he could sit. He sat beside me and placed his food on the table. He scoffed. “So, How are you?” I chuckled and nodded fine. “What about you?” “It’s been days since I’ve seen you Jake!” He tucked out his lips and nodded. “I know right” “I was quite busy with my assignments and experiment Charley” “You know? Being a science isn’t easy!” I chuckled and agreed with him. He further continued, “You waitin’ for Mia?” I closed my phone and kept it back in my pocket. “Yeah!” “She said she’ll get her food from the canteel and she’s waiting in the que” I pointed out the que and checked if she was there. But she wasn’t. Jake searched for her too. he sighed and nudged me to see opposite. Mia was getting her drinks from the machine opposite to us. “Oh” I chuckled. She came an sat infront of us and waved Jake. “Hey Jake!” “Long time no see!” He took out his meal and chuckled. “Yeah Mia!!” “I’m doing fine” “Proud that you fought her bully back” Mia scoffed at Jake. They both knew each other because of me and I was surprised that they got close in days. We opened our meal and started eating. We shared some too. We had some casual conversation. We finished our lunch and leaned back. “It’s time to wind up I guess!” I whispered. They both nodded and we stood up. We were walking through the hallway and Jake signed off. “Will catch ya later then!” We gave a fist bump. We waved him off and headed to our class room. “Theatres right?” I asked Mia and she nodded. We took out our books from our desk and headed to the theatre class. In theatres, we learnt how to act and build a setting. This was the most interesting class and students other than from our genre tempted to learn it. We got into the auditorium and saw lotta students from the same group. Mia gasped and tapped on my back continuously which made me annoyed. “Is that the boy I bumped in?” she pointed out a boy who stood yards away from us. I looked at him and rolled off my eyes. “SO what?” She looked ridiculous. “Common Charley!” “We’ll give it a try!” I warned her and nodded no. She sighed. “You need to do it for me!” she pulled me up to him. I forced my body to get away from her. “Mia!” “I can’t go and talk to an unknown boy by volunteering!” “If you want you go!” I backed away and let her go. She mocked me and imitated. “You’re so mean Charley!” “I’ll talk to him afterwards!” We stood in our line when we heard instructions from our teacher. “STOP LOITERING AND STAND IN OUR GROUPS AND SECTIONS” They started off with a scene. “You and your friend are alone in the house and one of you acts strange” This the scene and the further will be developed. They further continue. “I have the sheet to group you all” They started to call the names in couples.
