Chapter 13It took four days of near-constant traveling before they found a road that led to Kenna’s Crossing. They followed it through town after town, asking for information as they went. As far as the locals were concerned, Kenna’s Crossing was either cursed or a beacon of light. Either way, the people considered it different from their towns. They spoke of a wall around the place, designed to keep others out. And they said that animals stayed clear of it out of pure instinct.
