Chapter 14Cameron took the time to get closer to the magic wielders. He wanted to know everything about them, and he didn’t care how long it took to learn. Terrell was an open book of information on talismans. He considered himself a sort of historian on the matter, and he could speak for hours about where each talisman came from, what it did, and who had previously owned it. Kenna was less forthcoming, but she did explain what each of her talismans could do, and how she thought she might help them get rid of the mutations. Fire topped the list. Apparently, she had a complicated history with flames, but she said that it wouldn’t stop her from burning down each and every demented forest.
