The kidnapped bride
Bea’s POV:
I woke up feeling extremely dizzy. I wasn’t sure what happened.
If my memory serve me right, I was in the dressing room and was waiting for the wedding ceremony to start.
My wedding ceremony.
My pack-the sunset pack’s alpha recently lost his mate and the pack needed a new Luna to lead the pack.
Me being the beta’s daughter was chosen for this role. I accepted the offer without much thought. Unlike other girls in the pack, I didn’t dream of love or romance.
I wasn’t sure why either, but I have never felt the need or desire to mate like other wolves did.
I tried focusing my eyes on the surrounding. I was lying on a soft bed, covered in a warm blanket. The room was decorated lavishly, with dark pink curtains and expensive furnitures.
I slowly moved my body to get up and felt the soft, plush carpet beneath my feet. A pair of slippers laid beside me.
‘As if prepared for an esteemed guest.’ I mused.
‘Tina’ I said in my mind, trying to connect to my wolf. She didn’t answer.
I wasn’t surprised.
Tina doesn’t like being disturbed from her “beauty sleep”, as she calls it. I couldn’t help snickering at that thought.
Tina not waking up is a good sign I guess. That means, I wasn’t in danger. Not yet anyway.
I was still feeling dizzy so I couldn’t move as quick as I wanted to. I walked over to the mirror to check my reflection for bruises and other wounds.
My face still looked the same- creamy colored flesh, with blue eyes and red lips. My auburn hair cascaded down in natural curls and my clothes were intact.
Correction- my wedding dress was intact. My veil was missing but otherwise everything else is where it should be.
I immediately thought it was the doing of our pack’s enemies. They didn’t hurt me. However thinking about it, no pack would dare go against the council.
There is a rule issued by the council that doesn’t allow any pack fight or declaration of war 1 month prior and 1 month after the alpha’s wedding.
I walked over to the door but as expected, it was locked. I shrugged.
No use struggling I guess. Thinking that, I walked over to the table in the corner of the room where a feast was laid out in front of me.
My stomach growling is the cue for me to start eating.
