Ansel I looked at Elisa. She was quiet the entire ride home as if she was worried about something. Sadie fell asleep, so there was nothing but uncomfortable silence. "Are you okay? That went well, don't you think?" I asked. "Yeah, it did," Elisa said quietly. "Then why do you look worried?" I narrowed my eyes. Elisa looked like she was hiding something, and I didn't like that one bit. I haven't been a fan of secrets since the incident with Jessica happened. Elisa looked at me and smiled. "It's nothing. I'm just a little nervous, I guess." It made sense, but I wasn't convinced. I wanted to push her for more answers but decided against it. There will be plenty of times to ask questions. I wondered if I made a mistake with my decision. What if marrying Elisa brings nothing but trouble
