The Blood Red Moon (The Phoenix Wolf)

Cholena POV "You need to get rid of her!" "She is a curse to the fire stone pack and will bring down this pack!" The pack members mutter to my dad Fire Feather and my mom Starfire. "What kind of wolf shifts as early as 5 years old? That not normal!" "And what's up with that red color fur I have never seen a wolf as red as hers" Is all I hear from the older pack members as they spread hate and fear of me. It even reached to my parents to where they start believing what everyone is saying. I don’t know what's so bad about me being able to shift early or having red fur I thought it was cool and is what made me special, but I guess not. Later that night I can feel my body being lifted from my warm cozy bed. As I opened my eyes to see what was happening, I see my mom carrying me into the woods. "Mommy where are we going?" I asked but she didn’t answer me. As we got further and further away from the fire stone pack the darker and thicker the woods got. My emotions went from calm and confused to straight fear, and I was getting more scared the further we got. Then my mommy made a sudden stop right in front of a large Oak like tree with white flowers that shine like the stars in the sky. She sat me down in the little hole in the truck of the tree and says, "I'm sorry" Gave me a final kiss and I never saw my mommy again. As my mommy's scent faded to the point, I couldn’t smell her anymore I began to cry. My tears fell like a waterfall falling down a mountain. My heart was broken that my own parents didn’t want me. As I continued to cry my heart out, I caught a sweet scent of berries and dew from the first sun rise. As I turned to see where that smell was coming from, I saw the most beautiful and angelic like wolf I have ever seen. She had eyes as white as the full moon in the night sky, and her fur was a light blue color. I shifted into my wolf Phoenix because no matter how young I was, I was ready to fight. But as she got closer my wolf began to hang her ears low as a sign of submission. I didn’t know what was going on with Phoenix she never back down even when the little boys in our pack would try and bully us, we would just shift and scare them off. When the wolf got closer, I jumped immediately back bearing my tiny fangs at her. She laughed and gave me a smile. "Calm down little one I will not hurt you" she assured me. I took a few more steps back for I didn’t know what she say was true. She took her face and rubbed it against mine to show that she means me no harm. I felt the warmth radiating from her then I soon relaxed my guard with her. Then it just hit me, how is she able to communicate with me in her wolf form. "She is the mother the moon Goddess" Phoenix said to me. "Whoa the moon goddess omg omg" I said to myself as she asked me what I was doing all the way out here in these dangerous woods. I explained to her "My pack didn’t want me and that they made my mommy and daddy not want me either to where my mommy left me out here" once I told the moon goddess my story, she looked hurt, sad, angry, etc. Then she asked, "Would you like to come live with me?" I yelled out "YES!" with such excitement in my voice. She laughed and grabbed me by the scruff of my neck and carried me to my new home. Moon Goddess POV As I was walking through my protected forest, I sensed a wave of power cross my boarders. When I walked deeper into my forest, I heard a someone crying. The cry was coming from where my barrier tree is. When I got closer, I saw a little girl sitting in the whole of the truck of the tree she couldn’t be no more than 5 years old. When I saw her, I felt a surge of power from her. She saw me staring at her and she instantly shifted bearing her tiny teeth at me. I laughed and gave her a small smile. "Calm down little one I will not hurt you" I assured her. I took a few more steps towards but she just started backing away and looking at me if she wanted to make sure I was telling the truth. I took my face and rubbed it against hers showing her I mean no harm. I asked her what she was doing out here and that’s when she told me where her pack and parents did. I just looked at her with hurt, sadness, and yes even anger. How could my creations act like this to not just each other but to a child. After telling me her story I asked her "Would you like to come live with me?" With no hesitation she yelled “YES!” with such and excitement. I just smiled and gave her small chuckle and then I grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and carried her home.
