ALPHA STAN
The door to my study creaked open, and in walked Flora. I rose from my chair and made my way across the room to stand in front of her.
"Where is she?" I asked anxiously.
Flora furrowed her brow and shook her head. "Kyan has placed her under treatment, and the nurse was adamant about keeping her close. I couldn't get her out of his apartment."
In a fit of rage, I forcefully kicked the chair in front of us, causing it to shatter into pieces.
“I gave you a very simple task, to bring that slave to me? What is nonsense you omit from your mouth?” I question, not believing that some foolish nurse would keep Vanessa in her custody.
"I did everything I could, Alpha Stan. I didn't want her to report me to the Alpha heir," I pleaded.
