Four years earlier "Mom do I have to go?!" I yelled. My mom walked into the hallway put one hand on her hip and said. “Young lady you will lower your tone when you talk to me. I am your mother. Remember that! You have to go we all do, No one gets out of this. No one!" She finished talking as she looked at my little sister Amelia. Amelia was standing there patiently waiting her turn to get out of this. Then I had an idea. "Okay. Mom since we have to go can we each bring a friend please?" "Analise..." She started but I quickly cut her off." Mom please! We hate going to the palace. They're not many girls there and the boys, well they're just that boys." I pleaded with my mother. Using my puppy dog eyes. My mother turned and looked at Amelia, who was giving her the exact same look I was. "Please mom?" She said sounding as sad as she looked. With a deep breath she said "okay fine. I’m sure the King and Queen wouldn’t have an issue with it. I’ll let them know to set two extra plates for inner.” Amelia and I both said thanks mom with a smile on our faces. “Yea, yea. Then I guess the girls could spend the night. I mean it will be late when we get back.” She said smiling and turning to walk away. “oh yea, your father is almost done with breakfast.” The he disappeared as she walked down the stairs. Im going to call Sammy. My sister said before returning to her room. Of course I already knew who she would invite. She’s only one that talks to her now. With a deep sigh I pulled out my phone texting my only friend. She is literally the only person other then my family that I talk to. Her name is Rebecca or Becca as I like to call her. Becca is actually my best friend and the only person to stay my friend after learning I didn’t have a wolf. Me: Hey Becca do you want to go to the Palace with us. Then you can spend the night. Becca: Did you even have to ask? Yes im going!! Me: Cool be here by 3 Becca: I’ll be there by 12 ‘This girl.’ I thought to my self. I slid my phone back into my pocket and headed down stairs. I followed the lovely smell of my father’s cooking to the dining room. My dad was placing the eggs on the table. He made a lot it was; eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage links and cheesy rice. Then it was a couple pieces of toast for mom. She really hates waffles and pancakes. Weird right? Amelia came down the stairs just as I took my seat. “Mom Sammy said she can come with us she will be her by twelve. “Amelia said to her. “So did Becca.” I stated immediately after Amelia. My dad just looked confused and then asked,” Audrey, what are the girls talking about? “ Mom explained to him what we discussed a few minutes ago and he wasn’t to happy bout it. “So im stuck with all women for the day. Ugh why did I have to have two girls?” He asked no one in particular. That made all three of the women at the table glared at him. “Henry if looks could kill…. You better focus on your food or you might not come back with us tonight.” Mom said to him. After that we pretty much sat in silence while we ate our breakfast. Once I was done, I went to my room. I never really leave the house anymore. See after I turned seventeen and everyone found out I had no wolf I became an outcast. I no longer had the ability to do things like go outside peacefully anymore. Not having a wolf made me less than an omega and most of the pack members eyes. To the older people I was a disgrace, and to the younger ones I was just a weak human girl. I looked at my phone and noticed I had maybe a hour an a half until Becca got here. Knowing her, she would be here before twelve o’clock. So, I decided to watch a movie. I went to Netflix and scrolled the movies until I saw one that caught my eye. It took a while but I finally settled on Beauty and The Beast. I must’ve pasted out during the movie because I was woken up by my annoying best friend. “Now how are going to get you super cute before we leave if you continue you sleep.” Becca asked. “I don’t want to get all cute Rebecca its not like anyone is going to talk to me remember.” As I finished talking there was a knock on the door. “Guys lunch is ready” Amelia said. Becca didn’t get the chance to object because I was out the door following my sister and her friend down the stairs. Becca didn’t mean any harm she just felt like one day people would accept me for who I am. One day they might but today isn’t that day. For lunch today mom made lasagna, bread sticks and a salad. She knew just how to make us okay with doing stuff we don't want to do. Since Im the oldest, I helped set the table. In no time at all we all were seated around the table eating and laughing. After lunch all the girls came up with the plan to get on my nerves during the trip to the palace. You know since he should have had boys. A couple hours later we were in the car and our way to the Royal Palace. We did just as we Intended to do and got on Dad's nerves that is until we all passed out of course. I wonder if that was mom's plan all along. The next thing I know is we're being woken up by the Royal guards just outside the Royal Palace front door. "Why did you guys let us sleep?" Sammy asked my parents. "Because you four young ladies were tired that's why. Dad said with a smile no doubt happy we weren’t getting on his nerves anymore. The view was amazing though. The building surrounding the palace were huge almost as big as the palace its self. The building in front of me is white looking like something out of a fairy tale. The vines growing up the sides along with the flowers on the ground made it a combination of spooky and beauty. I was distracted from looking at the magical palace by the queen. “Audrey, Henry its nice to see you again.” The queen gave a hug and turned to face the four of us. “Analise your so grown up now and Amelia you look just a innocent as you did as a child.” Sincerely smiling at us. “oh where are my manners. Hello dears let me guess Rebecca and Samantha right?” “Yes ma’am. I mean Queen Elaina.” Rebecca said bowing her head. “oh no dear you don’t have to do that. You four girls can call me Aunt Laina. Well Eric Is finishing up a meeting in his office. We are going to me him there. You for young ladies will be escorted by Jessica here. We have to go but we will see you girls at dinner.” Aunt Laina said gesturing for my parents to follow her as she headed inside the palace. “Hi. I can Show you guys around if just follow me. Oh and you can just call me Jess."
