Eric and I break from our embrace with reluctance, but we’re laughing like school children. Both grinning ear to ear like idiots, we’ve found our common ground. Three days, then we part as best friends.
He tickles me, and I squirm until tears are falling down my face. Eric did make me cry, after all. It just wasn’t out of rejection. He’s still the person I have always known, admitting to loving each other hasn’t changed that.
