High School Game Season 1

Episode 1 Chapter 1 Buzz buzz…… A message on my phone woke me up. I stood up, said my prayers, went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. I went back to my room, took my phone and opened the message. "Dear Star Lee, We are glad to inform you that you've been given a scholarship to study at GS Central High School (GSCHS). Do well to resume on Monday". GSCHS management. I couldn't hide my happiness. I finally got admission to my dream school and not just that, but with a scholarship. God thank you so much. I ran out of my room like a mad girl and ran into my parents' room. " Star, what is your problem early this morning?". My Mom asked. "Mom! Dad! I got it, I got admission to my dream school". I shouted happily as I bounced on their bed, giving mom my phone to check. "Wow, with a scholarship tooooo, my daughter I'm so proud of you". My Mom praised me happily. "That's my daughter! Well-done my dear". My Dad said, patting my back. Mom and I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast, leaving dad in the room. Later that afternoon, my parents and I were about to go out when a postman delivered the admission and scholarship letter to me. I was so happy. I finally get to attend my dream school with a scholarship too. We went out to celebrate it and I really had fun. We went to my favorite restaurant, then to the park and, lastly, home. Immediately I got home, I went to my room, showered and changed into a comfortable set of night wear. I fell on my bed and wrapped myself up in a warm blanket. I took my phone, put on my earphones and played "runaway" by Aurora. I hummed softly to the song"I was listening to the ocean, I saw a face in the sand, but when I picked it up, it vanished away from my hands down....I had a dream. I was seven, climbing my way in a tree, I saw peace of heaven waiting impatient for me down ........." I sang softly as I slowly drifted off to sleep with a smile etched on my face.....I woke up full of energy and feeling satisfied with myself....... I got ready to go shopping with my mom for the things I will be needing for school. I went to the kitchen to see that Mom was done preparing breakfast, so I helped out to set the table as Dad sat down and Mom joined soon enough. We ate our food after a short prayer. My family is a Christian family and I was taught to pray every morning as I wake up. My big brother joined us as we ate. He rarely does, though, because he and my father hardly agree on things. "Good morning Mom". Ryu said as he sat down to eat. "Morning son, how's your night?" Mom replied. "And am too small to be greeted by you, Ryu?" Dad yelled in anger. "Dad please calm down, it's too early for you guys to argue" I said, calming my dad down, but Ryu acted like he didn't hear or notice my Dad. We were able to eat in peace as I took the dishes to the kitchen for washing. Later on, me and I went out. We went to school to get me registered first, since it was a Friday. I was given everything I needed and then we left. We arrived at the mall and shopped for other things I would be needing, including new clothes and shoes. Mom paid and we went home. "Thank you so much Mom!" I said, hugging her so tight. "It's okay dear, as long as you continue to make us proud, you will get anything you want, my love". Mom assured me. I carried my stuff and ran to my room to check out everything. I went into my room, dropped the stuff on my bed and ran to the restroom because I was kind of pressed. I finished, then washed my hands. I sat down on the bed as I drew the bag down and opened it. I checked everything that was given to me by the school. Note books, text books, a set of pens, a set of rulers, a mathset and three sets of uniforms and two sets of sports clothes. The school time table, the school map and an iPad for each student of the school. I am so happy about all of these. I checked the things we shopped earlier; a backpack, a side bag, some shoes, socks and clothes. I packed them up and kept them accordingly. Then I decided to take a walk. I took my headphones and my phone and left my room. I went to the living room to see my mom watching her favorite TV show. "Mom! I'm going out for a walk. I will be back soon". I said to my mom as I pecked her and left the house. I was walking along the park with my headphones in my ear when I bumped into a guy, though there were three of them. "Hey, watch where you are going to, girl". The guy I bumped into said while looking a bit annoyed. I removed my headphones immediately. "Am so sorry, I wasn't looking. Please forgive me". I apologized immediately. One of the other two guys was coming close to me like he wanted to hurt me and I stepped back a bit. "Let the girl be Jasper!" The guy I bumped into said, referring to the guy coming close to me. The third guy drew the Jasper guy by his arm as they left. They looked like rich kids to me and all three of them were handsome, but the guy I bombed into was more handsome. 'Thank goodness I didn't get into trouble with those guys. They seem to be ruthless, especially the Jasper Guy'. I thought in my head as I walked down the park.
