Chapter Seventeen

Shaina hug him to herself letting his head rest on her shoulder as the car speed off, the reporters were finally out of sight and she let go of her hold on him
"Are you okay?" She asked worriedly
Samael remained rested on her shoulder with his face covered and did not respond to what she's saying.
Although his talons are back in, his red eyes keep glowing and he's unable to control it
"Are you not okay?" She asked a little panicked
Feeling restless and afraid of being find out, he grasp unto Shaina's neck and coil his hands around her inhaling her energy.
It is the perfect and only way to be calm and not attack the human driving the car, her energy seems surprisingly soothing.

Shaina felt the firm grasp and try not to flinch but decide to think he's just having a phobia and want to feel....
"Weak?" She mumbled
Her whole body feels like something is draining her and she feel weak by every second that clicks
"Can you drive fast?" She manage to say to the say to the driver
Shaina feel her body getting cold all of a sudden and ask the driver to turn off the AC not sure it's enough to cause the cold she's feeling
"Samael....." She called weakly, her hands getting numb, before she could say her next word she fall unconscious.

"Stop the car"
The driver stops the car like he's being controlled, open the door and exit the car walking away.
Samael look at Shaina and sees all her energy has been drained by him, in a flash he teleport them and reappears in front of a door
He carries her in a bridal style observe for a minute before going through the door and entered into the house
Vada turn back swiftly at the unexpected visitor and gasp in shock and fear seeing it is Samael, afraid they've been caught, she try to make a run for it but her legs refuse to move
"Where is Vivianne?" He asked sternly and Vada quickly point to him there
Samael glance at her before walking to the direction and into the room where Vivianne is
"Samael?" She called shock to see him
He ignore the shock on the two ladies faces and put Shaina on the bed gently before turning back to Vivianne
"What happened?" She asked and move closer to her
"I drained some energy to stop myself from getting exposed in front of few humans"
Vivianne took Shaina's left hand to examine her and immediately let go feeling a strange energy coming out of her
She turn to Samael looking frightened and he went forward to touch her
"You know about this?"
"I found out when I visited you last time"
"Why didn't you tell me?" Samael asked in anger
"...."
"Get me inside her consciousness" he told Vivianne and she nodded quickly
Her eyes turn into all white and it shines out brightly, she murmur some chants and instantly Samael disappear into the dream.

Fogs cover the whole place and Shaina can't tell what place she is in
She try to lift herself up but her feets seem too weak to move and have her stuck on the spot.
Not sure of where she is or what might happen next, Shaina panicked and try hard to get her feets to get away from there to a more safe place
As she struggles with her body to move, a strange wind blow around her and blind her sight, it become so wild that she feel herself choking in it with no escape
Just as she falls flat on the cold ground the wind stop abruptly and she feel someone lifting her up
Shaina open her eyes and saw a long white-haired man staring at her with a very strange eyes, the colour of his eyes shows dark red and he looks strange
"Who are you?" She asked curious
The man wrap his arm around her and have her in an embrace like he is protecting her from what's coming
"Stay awake" he whisper to her and Shaina can't help but raise her head to look at him again
Despite the strange veins visible on his skin, the hair color and it longness, and the strange eyes staring back at her
The man in front of her seems to feel a little familiar like she know him but the drowsiness she's feeling right now make it hard for her to think

Samael made sure she's safe in his hands before proceeding to see whatever it is that's chasing after her
The fog covered everything and it make it hard for him to see clearly what's coming to them but he close his eyes for few seconds to listen
"Dark power?"
He open his eyes and look at Shaina who is about to fall unconscious, he immediately tell Vivianne to keep her awake
"You need to come out soon, I can't hold it much longer" Vivianne replied back in his subconscious
Samael nod her look around for the darkness but it suddenly disappear and the fog was also gone and Shaina open her eyes
"Where am I?" She asked regaining herself
Seeing she's okay now, Samael tap her on the head once and they both disappear from the dream back to reality

Samael appear back to the room and Vivianne's eyes turn back normal, she exhale in relief and go to Samael to see if he's okay
"It escaped" he told her and she nodded
He turn to see if Shaina is awake but look away immediately and inhale sharply.
Vivianne also turn to look and realize Shaina is in her inner wears and quickly pull the duvet over her
"I need to have a direct contact with her body to transfer the energy and her clothes were getting in the way" she explained
Samael nodded slightly and turn back to the bed, he go closer and as he made to touch her face, she regain her consciousness and made to open her eyes.
Not wanting her to see the other people in the room, Samael wave his hand quickly in the air and teleport them to their own room

A big smile appear on Vivianne's face as stare in the air he just disappeared into, her heart has being worried these days but now she feel eased
Vada also smile seeing her master happy and ask the reason for her sudden happiness
"Is it because Samael didn't scold you for hiding in the human world?" She asked
"Is that enough reason to make you so happy?" She asked again doubtful
"He didn't touch the human!" Vivianne burst out
Vada stare confused at what she meant but smile anyway seeing her glowing eyes and hair
"Touch the human?"
"He hasn't sleep with her yet" she told her and laugh out in relief
"How did you know that?" Vada ask curious
"Samael could not look at her earlier without clothes on... that's because..." Vada figured out on her own and join her master in rejoicing
"Then she's no threat to you" she said
"How can a weak human be a threat to me?" Vivianne answered with a air of pride
"I search through her memories like you told me to, what do you intend to do now?" Vada asked eagerly
Vivianne take her seat on the bed and stare in the air with her lips part in a side grin.

Shaina who is not sure of what just happened felt a bit dizzy and try to open her eyes clearly, somehow her bones feel great again and she try sitting up
"What happened?" She asked staring at Samael
"You lost consciousness"
Shaina want to nod her head to his answer but stop when she notice something isn't right, she glance down at her body and let out a scream
She rush to grab the duvet to cover herself up and glare suspicious at Samael who just realize what he did
He was in a bit of rush earlier and forgot about to put her clothes back on or cover her with some clothes
"What happened!"
"What did you do to me?" She asked accusedly
Not certain how to explain the situation to her, Samael keep silent as he try to fathom what to say to her
"You are my wife, there is nothing wrong in seeing your body" he force out
"What..."
Shaina stare in disbelief at his words, how can he use such that as an excuse to see her body.
Upset, Shaina let go of the duvet to pounce on him but Samael catch her before she could make the attack and send her back to the bed, holding her hands down on both sides
Shaina inhales sharply as Samael lies on top of her body and her heart felt cringe as his face move closer to hers
She try not to freak out of her skin and close her eyes gradually when she is sure he's going for a kiss.
