Chapter 4 SOL SWARN

Sol Swarn.
It took me by suprise when I heard a loud banging in the door. It’s 1:00am no one usually comes here this late at night. An unknown voice draws me from my bed and I look through the little space in my door at what’s going on in the living room.
Two men, both dressed in black standing in the living room. Both men are tall with low haircuts and slim figure except one of them he’s slim but big. I open my door a little to hear the conversation being discussed outside because the stranger looks like his visit surprised my parents.
“Prince Rye, what brings you here at this hour.” Father says.
“Please have a seat.” Mother points to the one piece couch.
“It’s ok, I’ll just get straight to the point.” Prince Rye said.
“Speak your mind son after all we’re going to be family.” Father said.
“I had the weirdest idea, I’d like to run it by you and see want you think about it.”
My father nodded.
“I’d like my wife to plan our wedding.” He said. I was a little taken a back, happy but I know my parents would never let it happen.
“Ohh, I’m not sure.”
“I didn’t mean to say, ‘run it by you.’ I meant to say my wife will be planning my wedding. Someone would be here to pick her up at 7:00am to take her to the castle hall.”
He’s now walking around the living room, his eyes scanning the room with a hint of disappointment. I’d only assume this morden house isn’t what he would live in. But then his head snapped over to my direction.
I froze, my brown eyes not able to pull away from his red and silver ones. His hands slip into his pocket and he turns to head in my direction.
Finally pulling my eyes away I get back in bed and pulled the blanket to my neck and closed my eyes. The door to my bedroom opens letting me know someone’s in there.
A dip on the bed and fathers words sends me stiff,
“What are you.. she’s asleep.” My father said.
I heard Kyro voice after his,
“Let him be dad, she’s his now.”
Rye’s warn but cold breath brushes against my ear and I close my eyes tight, his sweet smell lingers in my nostrils and fills my room leaving me breathless at the same time.
“If you wanted to see your husband you could have just come out and look. There is no need to peek.”
He placed a little kiss on my ear and whispered once more.
“I hope you can make me happy Sol.”
And just like that he was gone leaving me blushing on my empty room, or so I thought.
“What did he say Sol, what did he say to you that made you go red.”
I swallowed as my brothers shadow came out from behind the door.
“No… thing I say.”
“Go back to sleep, you have somewhere to be in the morning.”
The next morning came by quickly, a knock on the door startled me as head maid Helien came to bring me my dress and shoes. Once Helen was gone my maid Sunny entered and helped me get dressed.
Well not really help me, I let her sit inside the room while I get ready so she doesn’t get punished for not doing her job. Dressing in my pink maxi dress and black slingback heels and a pair of golden hoop earrings.
I pull my hair from the rubber and it’s up in and allow it to fall flat on my back, looking at myself in the wall mirror in front of me I turn my feet in different directions looking at the black heels on my feet.
I remember the day I started learning to walk in these, I fell flat on my face numerous times before I got the hang of it. A knock on the door drew my attention.
“It’s time to go Ladý Sol”. Helien said.
Looking over myself one last time, I grab my bag and head out. The man that came with Prince Rye last night stood outside a black heavily tinted SUV.
“Hello princess Sol, i'm Frank, your bodyguard.”
We shake hands and he proceeds to open the door to the back seat and I get in.
King victor's castle is huge, wide and beautiful. It took five years to build and it was worth the wait.
White and gold walls, huge black gates, tall pillars, a huge garden and swimming pool along with a tennis court and many others.
The inside of the hall where the wedding would be kept is plain white with beautiful paintings. There are hundreds of chairs and tables laid out in the room.
“You must be the bride.”
A gorgeous woman said from behind me and I turned around to see a pair of stunning blue eyes, perfect smile, long hair, brown skin on completion and fangs with lipstick stains.
“I’m Sophia, I’ll be your wedding planner. I hope we get along well.”
“I'm So..”
“Princess Sol, I know who you are. Please have a seat, let's look over cakes, drapes, clothes, the menu and the ink you’d like the Invites to be written in.”
“Ok.”
“And lastly, the dress fitting. We have different color gowns waiting for you in the back.”
The day went on with us doing everything except cake tasting, as a last minute request Rye said he already had a cake in mind and I wondered if it had anything to do with him asking Ashley what’s my favorite thing to eat last night before leaving.
Apparently Ashley saw him looking about the house before he left and he asked her what’s my favorite color, favorite thing to eat and what do I like doing in my free time.
The drive back home was relaxing, by the time we finished everything it was 5:00pm and the sun was setting. Coming to a stop outside my house I remember the joke Sophia told me about why vampires can’t see themselves in mirrors and smiled to myself as I exited the car.
“What is it that makes you smile like that, did he touch you?” Kyro stalked over to me.
“No, he wasn’t..”
“Is that chocolate, did you have chocolates? You know you're not allowed sweets, why do you do things to make me punish you Sol.” Kyro barked, before his hands wrapped around my neck.
“I had to..”
“Was he there, did he touch you, I told you don’t let him…”
“What the hell is going on here?” Frank cut off Kyro speaking.
Within a split second I was on the floor and Kyro was being held by his neck as Frank punched some numbers in his phone.
“What do I do with him, he choked her Sir.” Frank said.
“Ok.” Was the last thing I heard before Kyro cried out my name. I looked at him fighting in Frank's arms and I thought about all the times that hurt me, all the times he made my life miserable.
“S…o…l” he choked out and I turned away.
