Chapter one. HOW DORIS BECAME THE VAMPIRES CITY.

The country of Doris was established many years ago by king Victor the First and his wife Queen elizabeth.
Doris is a country made up of many cultures and many citizens that came to seek refuge and to live a happy life.
One evening as King victor the III and his wife Queen Louis are having their annual banquet in the company of many ministers enjoying the music and dancing displayed in front of them the unthinkable happened.
The minister of Finance, Mr. Loam ran into the dance floor covered in blood and breathing at the top of his lungs.
“Run everyone, run while you still can.”
The dancers scrambled and the guests all stood from their seats in shock. King victor and Queen Louis walked over to the disoriented man and asked.
“What’s happened, are you ok Loam.”
“They are coming, my king, these people, these monsters. They're coming for you, your wife and everything we have built.” He shouted.
“What people, who are coming to take everything we’ve worked for.” King victor asked.
“The vampires, they're coming. They killed my family, they drank their blood.” Mr. Loam said,
The crowd started laughing in total disbelief, looking on as the ‘mad man’ was babbling on and on about blood sucking creatures that don’t exist.
Before Mr. Loam could answer, a striking pain in his chest caused him to collapse, a heart attack that’s what happened to Mr. Loam. The poor man was too old for that kind of excitement.
“Mr. Loam, Mr.loam.” Queen Louis called.
COLD!
A cold wind and heavy footsteps filled the atmosphere catching everyone’s attention. The sight behind them left everyone speechless.
Men dressed in black riding horses or walking, no not walking more like gliding towards the human crowd. Filling the air with radiance and prudence, they were left speechless, bewildered most of all lost for words.
Within a couple seconds they were standing in front of King Victor, Queen Louis and their guest.
“Speak your name and your businesses .” King Victor said.
The tall dark-haired gentleman dressed in a black leather suit with glowing red eyes and a bright tight lip smile opened his mouth to speak.
“Cedric Heart and I’ve come to take my rightful place as king.” The cold blood, but yet well mannered and settled man said.
“Your rightful place, you own nothing here, my ancestors built this with their own sweat and blood.”
“And there is hard work.” I’ve heard these lines before. Cedric flashed his fangs leaving the crowd gasping and shaking.
King Victor took hold of Queen Louis' hands and took a step back, within the split seconds and the flick of a finger the room was filled with Victor's royal guards.
“Leave, we want no trouble.” King Victor said,
“If you just give up your title along with every minister here and the rights to your country we’ll leave. If not, give the consequences.”
King Victor flicked his finger forward and the sound of automatic guns filled the room as every human ducked for cover. But the sound of guns going off was quickly replaced by screams and breaking bones.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve had a drink.” Cedric said, wiping the blood from his lips and then licking it off his finger.
King Victor looked around in horror as his wife and many others screamed at the sight before them, dead bodies and blood every way. Each and every royal guard laying on the floor.
“You have three days to give up your rights or I’ll have to force you to.” Cedric said.
Instead of thinking with a clear head and about the people of their country, king Victor and Queen Louis went in another direction.
They chose war!
The war between humans and Vampire went on for one year, leaving many dead and many wounded. As an aid for peace for their people and their son they seeked a peace treaty from the vampires.
They came up with a plan in order for there to be peace in the beautiful country of Doris King Cedric son Prince Ryeidon( Rye) for short will be married to King Victor and Queen Louis daughter once she turned the age of nineteen.
But there was one problem. Would you like to guess what it is?
