It took over an hour to get to the top of the game trail. He went as fast as he could travel in the snowshoes. The pup was with him the whole way. He was actually starting to sweat a little, so he forced himself to slow down so as not to freeze when he stopped, if he stopped. If he got wet, the cold would eventually freeze his wet clothes and he wouldn"t be any help to anybody after that. If there was anybody still alive.
