Chapter 13

1094 Words
“We need to find out more about werewolves,” said William, “obviously I have been told very little, I hardly know anything, heightened senses, shifting in daytime, why did they hide all these things from me?” It was then that William heard soft footsteps, “we need to move,” he said, and Sebastian instinctively ran to the nearest bushes in the opposite direction from the footsteps. William could not believe his eyes when he saw the werewolf appear, slowly looking around, as if she was looking for someone. All William could think was that she was perfect. “Who could this be”, he thought, “I have never been allowed to mix with the other wolves, therefore it could be anyone. Is she in School, is she finished with school, where does she work, what is her name, where does she live?” All the questions flashed through his mind.” I need to meet her,” William said to Sebastian but Sebastian immediately growled in his head, “don’t be a fool, remember who we are, we are the dirty stained mutt. Stained forever by Beta Charles and his wife, no-one will ever want us, look at us. Just get away before you make a fool of yourself.” As William turned around and slowly walked away, not to alert the wolf of where he was, he heard a twig break right in front of. William knew that she had found him when he looked up and stared straight into her blue eyes. Her coat had a ginger tinge to it, and he could swear that he saw the tiniest of freckles on her nose. “Kelly” he thought, but Sebastian quickly reminded him that Kelly was a human, whenever she used to be around, they could never get that familiar werewolf scent from her, and therefore they knew she was human. The wolf nudged at him and turned around to walk away. “She wants us to follow her,” said Sebastian, “but if she knows who we are, this can be a trap, she can lead us straight back to your father, straight back to be caught and tied up again.” William slowed his pace behind the wolf, and as soon as she was far enough ahead, he decided to run in a different direction, he couldn’t take the chance of being caught again. He would meet his father on his terms, in a public place where he cannot be taken against his will, a part of the town that mostly consisted of humans. When Alpha Gabriel entered the coffee shop to meet with William, he looked irritated at the meeting place, but he soon realised why William had asked him to meet up here, between the humans. “Hello father,” William greeted and Alpha Gabriel just looked at him with a death stare. “Don’t hello me”, was the response he received. “I would like to discuss some things with you,” William continued, “but unfortunately I fear that doing it in your house, it would not be safe for me”. William could see a smile forming around his father’s lips, “Do you think it is safe for you here?” He chuckled. “I know that you are a man that does not like to take chances around humans, so I will take my chances here”, replied William. “Well then, what is it that you want to talk to me about”, asked Alpha Gabriel with no emotion in his eyes or his voice. “I want to know, why you hate me so much? Ever since I was little, I cannot remember one day, one time, that you actually complimented me on any of my achievements.” Alpha Gabriel looked at William, and William could notice how his eyes changed, is that disgust I see, thought William to himself. “I don’t hate you,” replied Alpha Gabriel, “I loathe you, your whole being disgusts me, your presence reminds me of a horrible time in my life, I have wished you dead more than I can remember,” he continued. “If it wasn’t for YOUR council”, emphasising the word YOUR, “then believe me, you would have been dead long ago. Unfortunately they have means to know when one of their kind dies, and I don’t want to let them know where I am.” William noticed as Kelly and her parents walked into the coffee shop, and he realised that he hasn’t seen her in more than two years, he last saw her the day before he left for his military service. She looked stunning in her blue dress that could just as well have been a second skin, and he noticed that she had become a woman, a woman that was obviously proud of her full body, perfectly formed breasts, hourglass figure, and just the right amount of hips, He looked down at her legs and noticed how tanned she was, wearing stiletto’s she seemed must taller. “She must be the perfect ten everyone always speaks of”, he thought.  William was rudely interrupted in his thoughts when his father continued, “If it wasn’t for that, and your mother, I would not hesitate to kill you right now!” “My mother”, replied William, “she loathes me just as much as you do”, he continued. “She cannot loathe you as much as I do,” his father replied, “no-one can! Unfortunately, your mother decided to seduce a man when we were living back in Wiesbaden, and she fell pregnant. Little did she know he was a council member of your kind. We had no other option but to move far away, after we were excommunicated by our pack. Your mother has always been the seductress, and as soon as Beta Charles heard I wanted him here, he did not hesitate, he knew about us having his wife over for fun times, but he didn’t mind, he only wanted to be close to your mother, and when we started this pack, he was all too glad to be close to his Luna.” “Then why did you allow him to treat me the way he did,” William asked.
