Anniversary,

"Happy anniversary my love." He happily greeted and kiss her forehead.

She smiled warmly and hug him.

"Thank you my love."

Today marks the day of their 5th year anniversary.

Mike rented a beach house for two nights to celebrate their anniversary together. The beach house was beautifully decorated, and secluded from the road by lush plants and trees. From the beach house you could hear the waves lapping at the shore.

Meanwhile, she cook some pasta, roasted chicken, and make his favorite honey mustard chicken salad.

He buy a strawberry cake and Californian red wine.

They finished and enjoy eating dinner together. Cuddling in the couch drinking some wine. Suddenly he said he would get something that he forgot in his car. She smiled and nodded.

When Mike came back he was holding a bouquet of roses. He walks towards her slowly and give the flowers.

She happily accept the roses and give him a kiss on his cheeks.

He chuckled and handed her a red box.

"Here open it." He said excitedly.

A present - it was wrapped beautifully. From the looks of it something expensive.

"Oh. Thank you. You really shouldn't have bother." She said shyly.

She look him in the eyes and squeezes his hand.

"Being with you on this special day is enough for me."

"Its not a bother." He said while squeezing my hand back.

"You are very special to me. And today is our special day, I want to give you something." He said lightly touching her hair.

She was awed by the words he said. No words can describe the happiness she feel hearing those from him.

She put down the roses in the table and take the gift. Then untie the red ribbon and open the box.

Her eyes widened when she saw what's inside.

The box held a beautiful diamond ring encircled with deep, ruby baguettes.

No words came out her mouth. She was starting at the ring emotionally. Tears rolling down her cheeks and she started to cry.

He grab her shoulder gently.

"Hey. What's the matter?"

"You don't like it?" He asked nervously waiting for her to answer.

She shake her head.

"No. I l..love it." her voice is shaking.

"I'm just very happy."

She lean on his chest and hug him tightly.

"This is the best gift I ever received in my whole life."

"I'll treasure it forever. Thank you." Burying her face against his shoulder.

He put the ring on her finger and kiss her hand. Wiping the tears on her face. Happiness flows through her - wishing time would stood still forever - as they look in each other eyes. Those dark brown eyes that pierced the deepest part of her. His warm touch lingers on her skin. She want him - all of him.

He gives her a kiss - forehead - cheeks - tip of her nose.

Then looks in her eyes passionately.

His intense gazed fixed on her.

Staring at those red lips, wanting to devour it.

He cherish her but he also craves for her.

She close her eyes, partied her lips - anticipating for those lips to touch.

He pull her close, grab her hips, kissing her ardently but gently. Her arms slid around him, kiss him hungrily. He taste like wine but minty. He slip his tongue - started to kiss her deeply. She began to moan and grip his hair tightly.

Her moans drives him crazy.

His fingers were unzipping the back of her dress, letting the dress fall loosely around her body. His lips crawling down - to her neck - collarbone - stomach down to her thighs. The warmth of her body made his senses tingle with both need and happiness.

The sweet scent of her skin is addictive. He want her - all of her.

He lifted her into his arms and carried her to the bedroom, gently lowering her to the bed. His body entwined with her - rubbing his hard thing on her stomach. She is aroused with pleasure -he groaned - he pulled his pants down ready to take her.

He whispered into her ears.

" I love you."

"I love you too."

And they make love through the night.

She woke up to the bright sunlight shining through the window.

"I'm hungry". checking the time it's 11 AM.

Her cheeks turn bright red remembering the events from last night.

She couldn't find Mike in the bedroom. She rolled out of bed - put her robe on and headed outside.

She saw Mike outside - wearing a suit talking over the phone. She went to the kitchen, make some toast and brew a coffee.

Waiting for her breakfast - she take a glimpse of the man outside. The man who she spend the night with. The one she adores dearly. He shine brighter than the sun in her eyes . She is lost in her deep thoughts then heard the sound of the toaster - she grab her bread and coffee. She was eating her breakfast when Mike went back inside. He walks towards her and give her a kiss.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" He asked sounded naughty.

"Good morning." Thanks to a certain someone I overslept." She giggled and replied.

"Do you want some bread or coffee?" She added.

"No. Thank you." He said smiling sadly.

" I need to get back, there is an important meeting I can't cancel. Its very urgent." He added sounded frustrated.

A pained expression showed in her face.

"I understand." She smile sadly.

"I'm sorry. Its supposed to be our break together. I even told them a month ago to clear my schedule for this." He said clenching his fist angrily.

She forced a smile on her face - holding his hands to calm him down.

"Its ok. Spending our anniversary together is more than enough."

He let out a desperate sigh and hug her dearly.

"I promise I'll make it up with you."

"Uh-huh." She nodded hugging him tightly.

They walk outside to his car.

Before he gets inside his car, he grab her waist - then she put her arms around him and they kissed.

"I'll call a driver to drive you back home. Its a long drive." He said worriedly.

"Okay you do that." She agreed not make him worry.

"Promise me enjoy your break even if I'm not here. Okay?" " I'm really sorry my love." He said sounded very apologetic.

"I don't feel like going. I don't want to leave you alone here." He said looking worried for her.

"Silly. If it's urgent you should go back." She said firmly.

"Besides, I'll be ok. So don't worry." She added.

"Urghh." He growl. "Okay. I'll call a driver to pick you up tomorrow afternoon." He finally agreed and kiss her one last time.

"Okay. Drive safe."

He nodded and get inside his car, she waves at him goodbye. She see him off until she can't no longer see the back of his car.
