Missing GoldLyla returned to the mine and Conner spent the remainder of the day reviewing and checking the mine data in his makeshift office in the library. The average grade of the deposit was around one gram of gold per tonne of rock. The mine plan for the last year had them mining in an area of higher grade, estimated at 1.2 g/t. The actual production records from sampling the production drill holes and the belt samplers of the crushing facility incorporating thousands of assays returned a slightly higher grade. And the reported tonnage from the crusher belt scales corresponded well with the survey volume reconciliations.
