Lyla and the OperationConner walked back across the yard to the Process Plant and asked one of the operators for directions to Lyla's office. He climbed the stairs to the second floor and spotted Lyla through the large window that looked out over the plant's interior.
She was working at her desk when Conner stuck his head in and said, “Is now a good time?”
Lyla's face lit up and she said, “Perfect, come on in and grab a chair. Would you like a coffee? I just made a fresh pot.”
Conner noticed that Lyla's desk and in fact her entire office were immaculate. Clean and organized. She poured two cups and Conner said, “We didn't get much of a chance to talk last night.”
