All In

This is a story about Kai, a regular college student with a part time job at a clothing store and a few friends. Forging his own path and doing what he wants to do. As for a relationship well he hasn’t had any, due to both work and just not really caring about it too much. This was all of his life until he met one person. One early morning as Kai walked to school the sun scorching hot at 7:15 am he listened to his music on his headphones and all of a sudden began to look up as he did he saw a girl, as they caught eyes there had been a glimmer he stood there surprised for a second then eventually just waved and began to walk. That was interesting he thought as he turned around to give another look. Doing this Kai realized she noticed him giving a bright smile, instantly looking away he got caught he eyes again but this time he felt a bit embarrassed, he wondered what her deal was, he thought it was strange enough that she stopped just to smile at him. Music still blasting he mumbled “What was that about” not realizing he said it a bit loudly as she also heard this. Out of nowhere she yelled to him “I’m Sara by the way, nice to meet you” he was shocked and instantly thought to himself “busted” so all he managed to say was “Oh, you too” awkwardly. Heading to class as he always did, he began to realize how pretty she was, which may be the reason he felt what he did. As Sara looked on she thought he was cute and gave a light smile.
