After Parthiv and Trisha's wedding celebrations, everyone returned to their normal lives. Life had become mundane for them once again!
But this monotony wasn't going to last for too long as Ishanvi and Neer's wedding date was fast approaching. And once again, Ishanvi had to take the role of the planner— this time for her own wedding.
Neer wasn't a romantic guy but he helped Ishanvi with the preparations as much as he could. He would take some time out from his busy schedule to work on the details of their big day. From meeting the vendors to finalising the theme for each event, he helped Ishanvi with everything.
To Ishanvi's great surprise, Neer was a meticulous planner just like her and it saved Ishanvi a lot of time and made things easier for them as well as their vendors.
Neer wasn't very enthusiastic about having a days-long celebration but for Ishanvi's happiness, he was willing to do so even if he didn't like the idea very much. His gesture had touched a chord in Ishanvi's heart.
Growing up, Ishanvi had dreamt about having a grand wedding— a big fat wedding everyone would talk about for years. Ishanvi had dreamt of having a wedding with festivities spreaded across days where her family can relax, enjoy and celebrate her big day over the span of a few days. But as she entered her late teenage years, she had realised how superficial her idea of wedding celebrations had been. Now, she wanted to have an intimate wedding in the presence of their loved ones only. Now, wedding celebration for her meant creating memories while living in the moment rather than splurging extravagantly. Now, exhibiting your wealth for a day or two seemed like a stupid idea to her. She had realised that their special day needed to be noteworthy for them and the people who really mattered, it shouldn't be about showing-off wealth.
But one thing that remained constant was her dream of getting married amidst the snow-capped Himalayan mountains in Dalhousie.
Ishanvi knew marriage is also about caring about each other's comfort and happiness, thus she was planning to cut down her four days long celebrations to just two days and do things in a simpler way just how Neer liked.
But as fate would have it, all her plans of having a basic wedding consisting of essential rituals were quashed by her own sister, Inaayat!
Before Ishanvi could tell their families about having a simple wedding, Inaayat had already told them about her ideas regarding their wedding affair.
As for how Inaayat knew about all her crazy ideas about the wedding festivities— Ishanvi had shared all her ideas she had about her wedding with Inaayat since they were teenagers, and kept updating her as her plans changed over the years!
And now, Inaayat didn't take a moment to share Ishanvi's dreamy ideas for her wedding with their families. And as expected, both the families were more than eager to arrange things as per her wishes.
Thus, to fulfill Ishanvi's teenage dream of getting married in the lap of Himalayas, a resort in Dalhousie was chosen as the venue for the wedding.
Ishanvi found it hard to convince them for a smaller event.
Initially, her family wanted to have the wedding just as Ishanvi had dreamt earlier. But now, Ishanvi wanted to have an unpretentious celebration of her and Neer's union. So, she requested their families to have a two-days long event only, followed by two receptions in Delhi and Chandigarh respectively.
Everyone agreed and was satisfied with the new schedule but they also planned to reach the venue a couple of days in advance to get used to the cold weather of the mountains as well as explore the place and relax before the festivities began. It would also give their relatives to mingle with each other, to make the wedding all the more memorable.
Neer and Ishanvi liked the idea as well and gave their assent for the same.
Both the families decided to share all the cost of the wedding and split the expenses while the Dixits decided to hold a reception in Delhi and the Oberois decided to throw out the reception party in Chandigarh.
With the basics sorted out, they began the next step— planning and execution!
Now, Ishanvi was running around to get everything in order. From caterer and tailors to decorators and photographers, she was monitoring everything herself.

Time seemed to have grown wings and was flying with the speed of a hurricane! The month of November was fast approaching and the preparations had reached their final stage now. The outfits were being finalised and sent away for the alterations and modifications. The invites were beginning to be sent out now.
Meanwhile, Ishanvi had to apply for a two-months long break from her University, which would be followed by online classes until Ishanvi could return to Delhi from Chandigarh. As it was her last year, it was a crucial time for her research dissertation and Ishanvi didn't want to take any risks. Hence, she was carefully studying and working on her thesis as she prepared for her wedding and wound up her work at Écrits.
As for her job at Écrits, Ishanvi had decided to take a hiatus from her work. She wanted to give some time to her new relationship and her dissertation for the time being. And Onir agreed with her decision, thus granting her a year-long break with the promise that she could return to work whenever she wanted.
Over there, Neer too was trying to finish his on-going projects before he had to leave for Dalhousie, so that he could have a peaceful time in the mountains as he took the sacred vows with Ishanvi.

Time had seemed to be running on the fastest roller coaster ever and soon the month of November had arrived.
Both Neer and Ishanvi had begun to experience the infamous wedding jitters as their wedding date fast approached.
With the wedding just around the corner now, everyone had begun packing all the stuff they would need for the wedding.
With a heavy heart, Ishanvi was packing her luggage that she would take with her to Chandigarh as well. The thought of going away from her family was making her sad beyond measure but she kept her tears well hidden in front of her family and pretended to smile all the time when with them.
Soon, it was time for the Dixits and Oberois to leave for the wedding venue.
Ishanvi bid a teary farewell to her home for twenty six years. She bawled her eyes as she kissed the threshold of the place which had been her abode, which had nurtured her for the past twenty six years as she left for Dalhousie! Her parents and siblings accompanied her in the crying while the relatives wiped their tears away. All the eyes present there had turned moist as they witnessed the teary farewell.
The Oberois too left for Dalhousie at the same time as the Dixits as an adventurous experience awaited them!
