As per Ishanvi's wishes, the whole Dixit and Oberoi families had arrived at the _ resort in Dalhousie. Along with the families had arrived some of their closest relatives and friends.
The whole resort was booked to accommodate the guests and the hosts.
The resort was built slightly away from the main city area to give privacy as well as peace to their customers. This is the primary reason behind choosing this place as their wedding venue in the first place.
Ishanvi and Neer got to choose the rooms first, and both of them chose the room with the best view of the mountains from the wall size windows in the rooms. Surprisingly, their rooms were across from each other and they shared a common huge lawn which joined their balconies.
Everyone settled down in their respective rooms and rested for a while before they had to gather at the reception area for the first adventure of the day.
For the first day, Ishanvi and Neer had planned a visit to the "Satdhara falls" —which was a few kilometres from their resort— followed by a sunset picnic at the "Panchpula".
But before that, they were going to explore their beautiful resort first. The resort had a huge indoor swimming pool, a game room as well as offered spa and massage facilities, and trekking trip packages for their customers. But most importantly, it offered a breathtaking view of the Himalayas with clouds floating right above their heads.
After exploring the resort and having a quick brunch, they left for the waterfall.
Surrounded by fresh and lush green deodar and pine trees, and the snow-capped mountain ranges lies the Satdhara Falls featuring stunning views of the Chamba Valley.
Ishanvi was mesmerized by the beautiful view when she first arrived there. Closing her eyes, she felt the chilly air that soothed her mind and heard the sound of water gushing from the waterfall. At that moment, Ishanvi felt nothing can be more beautiful than this feeling! This feeling of being surrounded by mountains, water and trees was truly a magnificent one!
With her eyes closed, she was lost in her own world when Neer's eyes fell on her. Unlike Ishanvi, he was standing alone in a corner as he took in the nature's beauty around him. But when his eyes fell on Ishanvi, he felt that she looked more exquisite than the nature around them. In that moment, he couldn't help but gaze at her lovingly. He tried to capture that moment in his memory to the best of his abilities. But he wasn't satisfied, so he took out his cellphone and clicked a couple of her pictures sneakily before putting his phone back in his coat's pocket.
Just then Ishanvi opened up her eyes and Neer instantly turned away.
Everyone took hundreds of pictures of themselves around the waterfall before they headed for their next destination— Panchpula.
Once at the Panchpula, they laid out their picnic matts on the ground and brought out their picnic baskets and other stuff like frisbees, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, and some board games.
They played, and sang, and ate, and took hundreds of pictures again. They also got to witness the most stunning sunset of their lives as the sun hid behind the snow-covered mountain peaks, leaving a glowing darkness in its wake.
